Fallout 4: FINALLY REVEALED! OFFICIAL TRAILER JUST WENT LIVE (IT'S BOSTON, BABY!)

Lol. The ghost ghoul. Nope nope nope nope nope nope nope nope nope

I kinda hope the player voice is optional. It keeps otherwise long dialogues at an acceptable length. Plus low intelligence interactions are fucking hilarious

Coming out November 10, 2015

Well…my prediction of the prewar tutorial, going to the shelter and then bad things going down before coming out to the ruined world was correct. Aren’t going to be a kid though. Oh well.
The mass effect style dialogue and weapon crafting look pretty cool.

The rock it launcher was my favorite. I hope it returns.

The crafting system looks amazing. Can’t wait to see the creative ways people are able to make dicks when the game comes out.

I can fiiiiinally get into this series, thank the gods.

I was hype, then I saw that there’s a fucking gun that shoots junk inventory items and I came everywhere.

Looks like the special edition will be coming with a “Pipboy” thing for your phone that you can strap onto your wrist.

I’m saddened the world isn’t cyberpunk enough where this is acceptable to wear in public, meanwhile bros are allowed to roam the streets wearing iWatches and sketchers.

From the trailers Fallout 4 might actually have gunplay that doesn’t suck. That was my biggest problem with Fallout 3 and New Vegas.

I want a pip boy lol

Okay I’m going to revive the thread since I probably killed it with my inane post.

Just finished my fallout 3 run on the ps3. I pretty much ran through the main quest, then ran through the DLC material, most of which was garbage except the Operation Anchorage one that yielded me the Gauss rifle and the Winterized T-51b Armor. After putting those on, you’re pretty much in God mode. At level 23 I decided to just kill everyone in every city and found that nobody could touch me. It’s still really annoying how the game doesn’t allow you to kill key characters and children. Aside from that the glitches and lag slowdown really annoyed me. I enjoyed the game for what it was but it could have been a lot better. Iron sights weren’t implemented in this game and VATS is too overpowered. I have a strong shooter background prior to coming into this game but I still found myself relying on it as a crutch.

I’m really looking forward to New Vegas. Especially with the iron sights and less-powerful VATS. As for Fallout 4, I haven’t decided whether I will get a new PC or simply get a PS4. I really don’t like console anymore but games like FF7 remake do make me curious

PC master race lol

Yeah I dunno, between this 30fps shit and the glitch fest that was NV I’m not very confident in FO4.

I’ve done 12 hrs in NV and while it is a great game the glitches are just game breaking. I’m not even talking about exploits that get you to lvl30 in the first 30 minutes of the game or give you lag that needs reset…a lot of the glitches won’t allow you to progress in the game by messing up your quests where the only answer was turning auto save off and reloading a prior save. Great game ruined by lack of testing.

To those people that say people can only see 24fps anyway, not true. People can notice the difference. To me, this is the final nail in the coffin. Will not get ps4 to play a 30fps version of game with questionable mods. I might even wait for reviews to see if it’s any good before investing. I knew NV had problems going in but it was ten dollars for a unplayed game of the year edition.

Don’t play Bethesda games on console.

Yeah… one of their key features they should be touting first is an actual QA team.

But uh, general consensus on the two previous Fallout games…

Fallout 3 = Better exploration, MUCH more desolate feel (cause the capital got nuked to shit and beyond, obviously!), much more straightforward and less focus on side quests/companions. Pretty much Elder Scrolls in post-apocalyptic form.

Fallout New Vegas = Quest and story driven, actual townships with more things to do, BIGGER focus on quests (that majority tie into final game mission), companions are more memorable and kick tons more ass (and have quests, too!)

…So… here’s hoping Fallout 4 does the impossible and melds the two above together.
Oh, and any guesses what Vault mishap came about that renders your main character to be the Lone Survivor?

Conclave dumbfuckery i am sure.

I dropped 150 bucks for the Pip Boy version. My body is ready. Much Excite

I’m already in a bleh mood, I don’t think I’m ready to drop that much on a single game just yet.

You must have missed FO3 being in DC

Can’t wait to play the game. The only thing is I really enjoyed playing it with a PS3 controller, rather than the mouse. I’ll have to hook up the blue tooth PS3 controllers to my PC.

vg247 with the deflated hype:

http://www.vg247.com/2015/08/05/fall...led-fallout-3/

“After sitting through a 15 minute extended (edited) gameplay video of the game today at Gamescom, we can report it looks exactly the same as Fallout 3, for good and bad.”

“Fallout 4 isn’t an ugly game, but it’s not much of a looker. Fittingly for a game that encourages scavenging and hammering together equipment to survive, Fallout 4 looks recycled. Character models stand out here, with a lack of definition in the Ghouls and Raiders up close. There’s no impressive facial animation to wow over. It’s functional.”

“So far, I haven’t seen something that makes me stop in my tracks. Yes, this is a new Fallout game that we’ve been keenly anticipating for years. What I’ve seen looks good, and I’m clearing a space for it come November, but my enthusiasm has dropped a little since E3. In truth, we haven’t really seen anything truly spectacular thus far.”
