This game looks very interesting, I never really played fallout games. But when I learned that the same people made oblivion I just lost all interest. I hated oblivion I tried playing it but couldn’t at all. Hated the gameplay and the characters looked like retarded monkeys.

Get the first two Fallouts anyway.

Only Fallout 3 is made by the Oblivion team. And it does look like Oblivion with guns currently. :sad:

It isn’t. It plays like a total conversion mod of Oblivion though, the dialog and options is far better than Fallout 1&2, but the combat is nothing like Oblivions and it doesn’t feel like Oblivion with guns at all.

Did a search, didn’t see a thread. I’ve been following what notes the developers have been dropping and I’m surprised there isn’t a thread for it already. Is it not a common game a lot of you have played? You should at least try it. o_____________o

It’s slated to come out Fall this year, and I for one am excited as fuck. I love the series, and even Tactics [though multiplayer was the only real redeemable thing about it, and even that got real old once you started getting into the top tier builds] and from the caps this game looks fucking SICK.

I can’t wait for this game! I’m So Psyched! I played the first two for PC and now I can’t for for it to hit my 360! I’ve been watching the vids on XBL and around the net. Looks awesome, and I hope Bethesda can rock this game like they did Oblivion!

I Just reserved the Collectors Edition of the game and I think this game is going to be good as hell when it comes out…Seems godlike IMO, Can’t wait.

RPG with shooter elements. The stats/skills/perks you choose for your character are going to have an incredibly dramatic impact on how you can even approach the game. For instance, if you choose to take up Lockpicking you’ll be able to explore more of the world but if you pick up Speechcraft you’ll be able to get more information. If you choose to go with Repair you’ll be able to make weapons out of the discarded junk you find around the world.

Your intelligence level is always a huge factor in how the game plays out for you as well. If your INT isn’t high enough many segments of the game will be inaccessible. Fallout is pretty good about making every skill and stat very useful, even luck.

What skills are you guys tagging?

I think I’m going Small Guns/Repair/Science. Probably focus mostly on AGI and INT.
