Did a search, didn’t see a thread. I’ve been following what notes the developers have been dropping and I’m surprised there isn’t a thread for it already. Is it not a common game a lot of you have played? You should at least try it. o_____________o

It’s slated to come out Fall this year, and I for one am excited as fuck. I love the series, and even Tactics [though multiplayer was the only real redeemable thing about it, and even that got real old once you started getting into the top tier builds] and from the caps this game looks fucking SICK.

Highly anticipating it but haven’t been following it since the trailer that was released awhile back, which btw gave me goosebumps :sweat:

I’m really excited that Bethesda is making it, can’t wait for a free roaming world in the fallout universe.

I love the Fallout series (1 & 2, at least). I’ve actually been replaying FO2 for the past week, which was damn perfect timing since killap released his expansion pack.
All the goodies that the FO2 devs left out. Time to bust out your FO2 CDs :bgrin:

I hope to God Bethesda doesn’t fuck this up, cuz I’m hungry for some post-apocalyptic RPG fun.

If they do as good to this as they did Elder Scrolls, then there shouldn’t be anything to worry about.

This game is part of the Holy Trinity being released this year. Street Fighter 4, Starcraft II and Fallout 3, all in the same year. These are the end times.

Did they ever release the E3 06 trailer? I heard it was a 25 minute walkthrough like the old HL2 one.

Haven’t really followed.

So uhh, I’m a little disappointed that there isn’t anything multiplayer related. And that I got bored of Oblivion really really fast… FO better not be the same thing.

if possible, download the videos from XBL or PSN. Playing them back it looks like you had the game right in front of you.

Not looking forward to Fallout 3, especially after Oblivion.

E3 trailers did not look promising to me.

If there are a substantial amount of good reviews for it though, I’ll check it out regardless…

Can’t shoot kid thieves, no same-sex marriage, can’t be a porn star, can’t be a slaver, can’t be a havoc stirring vigilante who lays wastes to entire towns and kills NPCs for no reason…I’m sorry to say it, but I’m hating the way this shit is shaping up.

Why didn’t they just build off of the Van Buren template? If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

I’ll just have to live with the knowledge that my character won’t be taking a dick up his ass. Though, I somehow doubt the quality of the game is going to go down because of it.

Other than a handful of NPCs, yes you can.

I’m going to get this game, but I agree that it probably won’t have the classic fallout feel when they tone down the drugs, sex, and violence. I hope they some good amount of jokes in it like Fallout 2 did.

This is why im kinda glad I never played the first two fallout games. Well, I just started playing part 2. Im about 8 hours into it. In any case, I’ll be able to play part 3 without being all bent outa shape cause its not the same as the other 2. I’m sure I wont get much further in 2 before 3 comes out.

Oblivion was the shit, elder scrolls is the shit. And face it, NO TEAM is better suited to make FO3 than Bethesda.
