I really think Mike Ross/Taiji should be included in the 64 man bracket. I’ve heard from MANY top st players, who say are better than dsp. And he is the the champion of the universe; so, by default, they NEED to be included.
At this point there wont be a cap on my ST singles tourny. If I should get 100 ppl enter at $20 a head that will only make the pot bigger. And at $20 a head you are looking at a prize fund of $1500 and $500 to me for my cost. But i highly doubt we will even hit 64 ppl.
DSP if you want american sticks that you can feel the corners on you have to go with the Ultimate. Comp and Super both have a smooth circular motion. But the Ultimates have a very very loose spring in them so you may want to look at a tighter spring.

Those are the ones with the tightest feel and definitive corners.
Competition sticks are pretty good too. You should try both of them and see which ones you like better. Supers are “okay” at best.
Yeah my bro and I just ordered a couple of ultimate sticks from happ yesterday to upgrade our xarcade controller with, cause we dont like the circular feel either.

You can actually buy the springs itself. Just click on the ultimate stick picture to see a diagram of the parts for the controller and do a search for the heavy spring by inputting the serial # in the search.
Heavy duty springs cost $0.45 but there is a 10 USD handling fee for all orders under 25 USD.

To even be included on that list would have made me happy. To actually be listed in the 8th Tier, I think I almost cried tears of joy.
I think many of the honorable mentions, though, are better ST players than I. I think the other real support of my ST game is that, at every Evo I’ve been to (outside of the Black Bracket of Death year), I have managed to make top 32 with Cammy with lots of crazy people in my brackets. Hell, last year, I was seriously THIS close to putting Gian into the Losers bracket in my pool.
