Humbag: negative on that mike if it interferes with our mystery/SFEX tourney. Reason being, there is also a CVS2 tourney that I think Kennywood is going to try and run at the same time. I just don’t want to have any issues with this.
So if I register (which I already did), print out the page instead of doin paypal, I would pay 30 to register instead of 20? I wouldn’t pay 40 right?
I dont see how it would interfere really. Nickels is usually loud as shit anyway, and its kinda hard to call matchs. But, its no big deal really, i gotta loud voice :P.
The 6pm sunday start time for slash is flat out ludicarous. Most of us need to be getting back on the road middle of the day sunday, to do a 3 on 3 team tournament that late in the last day of the tournament is just not very intelligent scheduling. Slash needs to be on saturday, or 11am on sunday at the very latest.
(again no slight against tourney organizers here, its all good, just continuing chicago suburbs convo.)

And you are right its not as far away as I thought it was (only about 22 miles from chicago according to google maps).
Most people I know who live in the city dont own a car (I sold mine when I moved here), so we dont really go out into the suburbs much… I noticed there is a metra stop about 2 miles from nickle city, which I thought would work well, but unfortunately, it looks like the tourny’s are going to run later than the metra does.
so I made a reservation to rent a car, first time ive needed one the entire 4 years ive lived here haha!
Yeah, but EVERYONE drives in LA, its huge and sprawled, in Chicago its pretty common to be car free, =).

Wilson I was talking with Cole! Whats up with a ST team Tournament Friday Night like during the times of A3 and EX2 which I hope actually happens because Im godlike in that game! Anyway 2 on 2 if theres enough interest… whats up!
Jeron: there’s so many team tourneys that everyone is going to try and run that night that it’s silly. I made one rule, no one can use the mic except for during official tourneys, so if you guys want to group everyone together and make sure you don’t get DQed in your respecitive games, be my guest, but I know someone wants to do CVS2 team AND 3s team on Friday. Hard to think this will NOT take away from the stuff we are doing because there’s too much commotion going on! Therefore no mic for anyone.
klaige: There has to be a tournament at 6pm for SOMETHING. If I changed it to something else, someone else would be upset, so there’s no “ludicrous” scheduling, it’s just not good for YOUR scheduling. We have had the schedule posted for a long time. There has been more than enough time to plan for this.
Humbag: We aren’t doing the tourney in the arcade, it’s in the party room, so there won’t be any overblown games/voices in there. You can definitely hear the MIC if you are in the party room. If you aren’t during the possibility of your matches in specific games (which you wiull be informed of beforehand) may lead to DQ.
I can see mass DQs this year if no one is paying attention…if Sabre, myself, or Juicy G can’t find you in 5 minutes, GGPO welcome to Loser’s Bracket…

You actually have to show up at the registration times to add games to your roster. You wont be charged the cover again just the $10 to enter ST.
