Hyper Alpha and whatever is the newest GG game on saturday pleaaaaaaaaaaaaasssssssssssssseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

all i know is, mystery tourney on console. that will make it 398573858735 times better for free. keep it all arcade tho if possible =)

1.better stix
2.mo $$$
3.new location

Right now, Nickel City is probably the most viable location for Midwest Championships.

I can’t think of any other arcade (other than FFC in Omaha) that has the games/space for an arcade-only tourney, unless Powerplay in KC decides to bring in the more popular 2D fighters. Man, you could have a hella tourney inside their banquet hall, but they probably charge out the ass to rent it out…

evilmuffin: What kind of sticks do you want? These are Happ 360s, the ones everyone always seems to prefer. As for location, this places has tons of fighting games, no need to move it.

Guilty Gear will be on Saturday, but we need more people to show.

Mystery tourneys on console WILL HAPPEN.

MKII

But as usual, I’ll be there taking up space.

Suggestions(?): Whatever you did in '2004 do that again. That was hands down the best tourney I ever attended.

If it’s not a problem getting the boards, stick with arcade.

And maybe try to secure some big cash prizes to entice the EC and WC to come out again.

Yeah I would suggest keeping the current location. Have a few consoles set up for practice/pre game’s.

Maybe a X men vs street fighter tourney would be cool.

Get new sticks for 3s cabs. p360’s are teh suck. At least get some happ sticks

Console random tourney is a real good idea…(random NES/Genesis, etc stuff would be brilliant).

And you already know what to do for 3rd strike…(just a matter of who you can bring over, and if you can get the switch-out panel).

uhm p360s are happ.

360s are what the majority prefer, unfortunately. i hate the sticks, but i can still use em fine…

as for location, i think nickel city is great. nothing to do in the surrounding area really but thats a dope arcade IMO, and its cheap…

so jason, since you bought the cab off watson, you gonna bring this to mwc or you still gonna try and get neil to magically make one?

SNK tournies please…NGBC, SST, XI, NeoWave, anything SNK…if you need help I will run them…just let me know ahead of time…

Melty Blood ps2 Tournament, Garou PS2 Tournament???, yeah fuck 360’s, put Happ competitions in, i think they’re much better. (for third strike that is)

yeah happ competitions.

Happ Comp Sticks are not bad, but they break the easiest, that’s the problem.

sabre: I can’t lug that thing out there, I would have to DRIVE, ugh. Neil would have to build one and ship which brings me to…

NKI: Can you talk with some of the Japanese contingency and see what their thoughts are? We can’t guarantee big money unless we can get a few of those guys here.

you know my request.

Though I will admit last year I fucked up. I only brought the gameboard but not the motherboard (which had the jamma interface).

If possible, I’m trying to make something like Neils cab and find a way to bring that over. So you have something to play on for console tournaments since I know you hate having a stick in your lap.

And I’d be willing to record any console tournament matches on my computer (hopefully I won’t be an idiot again and delete an important system file prior to the tournament like I did last year). But if that doesn’t pan out, then recording some EX mathes against Jeron and Jwong will do just fine.

(probably not worth saying) T5:DR!!!

Well even if they are more fragil, i think they are a lot better than perfect shitsixties.

Somebody better bring TMNT Tournament Fighters this time.
