How do the Evo World qualifiers work exactly (as in the top 2 being allowed to bypass pools)? I’m assuming that among STHD and ST, only STHD is considered the qualifier? Do the top 2 both go in the winners bracket in the semifinals or does the 2nd place player go to the losers bracket in semifinals?
And then there’s the 5v5 unofficial STHD midwest teams qualifier, which is totally separate, right?
pretty much. Top two should start out in winners at Evo Worlds, and it should be HDR since thats the game that they’re running at Evo Worlds. Vanilla ST is there for the OGs who like to play on arcade.
and yeah the 5 on 5 is completely separate. Details should be in the thread that DreamTR linked to in the first post.
Also reposting, I’ll be holding SFEX side tournaments. Most likely on Friday so it doesn’t clash with the SF4 tourny (may have to carry over to sunday depending on if Dream needs the cab setup for HDR/ST).
