how many miles from Nashville tn?
there is a magic website called mapquest
This is going to be the first MWC I’m gonna miss since 2001 i think… balls.
GL to everyone else attending.
r there going to be side casual games? cuz i just started to play fighting games, so i dont want to enter the tournament, but i would love play some ppl.
Yes, there are casual setups and a crapton of freeplay arcde machines as well. (Project Justice stays hype:rofl:)
I say enter the tournament anyway if only to get the FULL experience. MWC 07 was my first tourney/first serious attempt at playing fighters and I got rocked of course but I met a ton of cool peeps who I now hang with every tournament.
Are you in chicago? There are local tournaments from time to time. Maybe you should come to one of those and see if you like it. Frankly, I have a feeling that this year is going to be huge, and I don’t see a lot of setups being used for casual games but at least for cash games.
Speaking of which, I’m willing to do FT5 for $20 at this tournament (or any other tournament leading up to this) in HDR. PM or leave a comment on my profile if you are interested. No one will be turned down, and we can play for less but it’ll be FT5.
yo i can bring my ps3 with street fighter 4
THE BRANTEN
DTOWN, MI
MVC2 SF4 TVC ST HDREMIX MYSTERY
I need to play you again :wgrin:
Man damn bro, I live on the southside and why the only SF3 cab ALL THE WAY in Northbrook?
I really need some arcade time, playing online I’m not sure how I’ll stack up against arcade players.
Guys, I might need some more TVs as well, early Friday morning or Thursday night. NON HDTV, Component or Composite video please!
Dream TR, I thin I can get you at least one CRT but this is up in the air right now. I of course have my own but it’s a flat screen crt and it’s way too heavy to transport. It might be a good idea to post in the Chicago thread because I’m sure the locals would be more than willing to help out with this.
hell yeah for sure any game too LOL
Hey DreamTR i will bring my PS3 with HDR and SF4 on it…So do I get that hot ass deal for the tourny:nunchuck::rock:
If I could work up enough money, I’m definitely going to this
-Showtime
I can likely get you a 20" component/svid/av compatible sdtv if you still will be needing them. PM if you think you will be needing it for sure.
I also just came about obtaining 2 PS3 TE sticks, factory sealed, that I will be trying to sell at this event if they do not sell beforehand (already posted it for the local guys, so they’re getting first dibs atm). If they don’t sell by MWC, they’re free game for anyone who wants them. I’ll be looking to get $225 cash for them (each). If I can’t find anyone to lend me a loner stick for this tourney, I’m going to open one of the sticks, use it for my tourney matches, and sell it immediately afterwards (I’ll probably knock $25 off the price of this one if I do open it and break the seals).
Just look for the guy carrying around a PS3 TE box, I should be there all weekend, name is Jim. PM me if you’re in the chicago area and would like to purchase one before MWC. Thanks guys.
CrackaJ: I am positive we will need it. =)
The Branten: Yes, you will get off the cover charge and into the two tourneys as long as we get it on Friday. Anyone bringing stuff Saturday will get free entry into tournaments, but not off the cover…
DA BRANTEN!!!
HEll yeah we most definitely need to play when you get yo ass down here!
Does the Detroit crew know when it’s gunna arrive in town yet?:wonder:

Jason:
I think I posted before but to confirm, I should have at least 1-2 27 inch CRT TVs.
They have great picture quality as well.
Ok, sounds good. I can probably drop it off at nickels thursday night (the 11th), as long as everything is going to be tagged or something so shit doesn’t get stolen during the weekend.
Ari also mentioned the fliers to me. I should be able to get something done this week, and print up a couple 11x17 ones. I’ll leave the file with amar if he wants to print more of them for his front counter or something.
Who’s going to be looking after our equipment during and in between event days? Just curious.
