If I feel like fighting 2 hrs of Chicago traffic after 5 or 6 hours on the road already I may consider coming to this again, last year was bleh, with the arrival of SF4 I guess shit will be hype again, I just don’t know about the trek n all…
I hear you. Chicago traffic can be annoying sometimes, you just got to pick the right hours to travel.
Those hours usually being 2-5 AM.

well among the midwest srk community there are no SF4 cabinets to compare speed differences between the three. and using youtube footage of cab play isn’t reliable since there might be speed differences from capturing to the final encoding on youtube. But if Ari wins the gamestop tourny and gets the cab we can probably find out.

I call bullshit on the PS3/XBOX 360 issue.
Fact of the matter is that the arcade version no one really has/plays. It’s not the definitive version, it’s the console one. So speed means nothing. I griped about speed for CVS2 arcade to console which IS slower in arcade for years, but that lies on deaf ears.
PS3/360 if you can’t get your links it’s because either you played on an inferior HDTV or you played online too much. We all know months ahead of times it’s a PS3 on CRT TVs. Practice on those. No more random creation of drama needed.

So I heard there’s supposed to be SF4 5v5 qualifiers here, but I read the majority of this thread and only saw the HD Remix one.
I may not be able to make this tournament regardless, but I’m just curious how it’s going to work in case things break right for me.

He has final say in whomever is on the team though.
i live like 5 mins from nickel city aka super just games, and go to school at bowling green, ohio. traffic is not too bad if u leave thurs night, remember that northbrook is about 30 min drive north of the loop, so it should only take you 4 hrs to get to actual chicago. as long as u dont plan to hit chicago (city) between 4-7:30, and 3-8 on friday, then the trip should take u only 4.5 hrs.
p.s. the traffic might get bad between I55-I290 regardless of time but thats only like a 3 mile distance so its only like 30 mins of traffic.
o, and worst comes to worst you can just take 80 to 294 and ull miss a lot of city traffic but i think ull pay more in tolls and it might take longer compared to the skyway if there is no traffic on there, but 294 takes u basically to nickel city too, just get off the lake cook exit and go east and ull basically be there too.
