u make it seem like his 360 k grabbin us out of the air is this new horrible thing. its not, DPs stop us from everything including slides. this grab just stops us from goin in the air, i believe u can just crouch this and u can see it on start up. he starts running in one spot, were just gonna have to bait. there should be nothing to worry when all we have to do is stick the the elf game

lol yea you might be right, but everyone seems to mention hakan as a potential bad matchup (and it does look that way), dawgtanian also told us to be very scared of him, thats why I wanted a bit more info on it just to see how bad it is (is it on par with his current worst matchups or better/worse). I hope its not worse than a 4-6, we will know soon I guess, the wait is almost over.
EDIT: But it does look like with the improvements fuerte got, he will be able to handle many situations a lot better than before. I have a similar feeling to Arde that fuerte will end up being a very balanced character without having too much of a disadvantage against any single character. The only two that concern me a bit are hakan and hawk, but hopefully fuerte will have an answer to them as well.
But at the same time it looks like bad matchups for Hakan will be ones where he has to deal with fireballs or long distance attacks. I think that for the Fuerte players who don’t want to counterpick Hakan with say a shoto, it will be Fuertes most turtley matchup. I imagine it to be like what the Zangief matchup would be if lariat caught tostada/tortilla/fajita.
My god, what an awesome finish! I cannot wait for tight endings like this in EVO with the low/mid tier characters especially since they got buffed big time.
Imagine seeing Claw, Fuerte, or Guile in the top 8 in EVO. Shit is so hype!! :woot:

Sagat’s tiger knee can be punished with the Ultra Spark if you make it whiff with a c.lk and immediately input his ultra.

I don’t think it works upclose.It works when Sagat cancels light kick from about max range into tiger knee.

You can make every safe Tiger Knee whiff if you just input cr. LK before it connects with you. The timing is pretty lenient, you don’t have to do preemptively.
