Bison’s RH in SF4 is 120 dmg and in SuperSF4 his RH is 100 dmg.
120 x 9 = 1080 dmg!
I just tested it in SF4 and it takes only 8 Bison RH’s (with Stun) to kill El Fuerte.
Also sad to hear Flying Giga Buster got nerfed, nearly 50 dmg lost! =(
ReyArt
It’s an example only about a command that does 100 of damage. Yo can use what you want, do not use bison RH on SFIV since it has more than 100 dmg, use tostada press for example that does exactly 100 dmg on SFIV.
SFIV: Test using 9x tostada press (100 dmg)
SSFIV: Test using bison rh 9x (100 dmg)
Yes, ultra I is nerfed too!, but this is common for any ultra character I think.
This is the damage scaling in SF4:
Has this changed in Super at all or remained the same?
Maybe it has another name about that “issue”, is a way to not K.O with exactly 9x 100, so the final hit does scaling a little to not K.O, having an option to survive, so seems that the last hit does 50% of damage instead of 100% or a little extra life that all chars have it. It still the same on SSFIV.
It’s a disaster about quality of that video, but is exactly the same thing if you test it on sfiv.
Go in trainning mode Elf with Elf, do 9x tostada press and you still alive, when is supposed that you should be K.O
I don’t play El Fuerte. But Kai represents you guys El Fuerte quite well.
Updated!

Now that I am a bit more calm…
First, thanks a lot Threelions, we really appreciate you taking the time to get us those videos.
Regarding the Giga Buster, I expected a nerf coming since it would be kind of weird to have it do more damage than Gief nerfed ultra 1 (would be 518 and now gief ultra1 is 510). But I thought they would go no lower than 490-500, and making it 470 seems a bit too much of a nerf tbh.
Think of it this way, Fuerte with ultra 1 in super is actually weaker overall than vanilla sf4 (only guac is buffed. ultra 1, tortilla, and RSF are nerfed), but at least others have been nerfed a bit as well. Using ultra 2 effectively will really be crucial in Super to make Fuerte stronger. I really don’t mind Fuerte remaining as a low tier, but I didn’t expect Capcom to try and nerf Fuerte in several areas like that, they are almost treating him like a mid tier character, and he is not.
If his normals prove to be better in some sense (priority, speed and things like that), then that would be a significant positive change, and will really make up for a lot of these nerfs. There is still hope, and the wait is almost over
Edit: Thanks ReyArt for the damage/stun summary, looks right to me!
Just saw this bit on EventHubs regarding West Coast Warzone 2 results:
I really hope this money match was recorded because vVv Scrub is crazy good with Boxer and if Kai beat him 3 times easy I want to see how he did it! =D
And just imagine that in Super Fuerte’s ultra 2 shits all over Boxer’s s.HK, cr.HK as well as normal dash specials.
I saw the match between Kai and vVv Scrub, and I can say it was definitely epic. Scrub looked like he had no clue what was going on. Kai = Fuerte master
Since an arcade release for Super is confirmed now, I can’t wait to see what TKD can do with ultra 2! He is already a monster in SF4, and ultra 2 along with nerfed top tier is going to make TKD really nasty XD
TKD=fuerte master
Fixed.
any news about the start up of U2? hope they wont change it in the final build.
3 frames is what I heard last, but could be wrong or could change… nothing for sure yet.
Good to see that Fuerte will be on the next Dev blog for his changes. We’ll finally be able to confirm everything.
kai also sent valle the the losers bracket in WCW2. epic fight. i got to talk to him for a lil and i learned some stuff just from watchin him play, watchin his hands helped alot too.
Please share details! =D
Did you see the money match between Kai and Eduardo “vVv Scrub” Perez?
no i missed that money match. it was hard to keep track of kai. he was helping run the tourny so he was all over the place. i actually got to sit next to him during the 3v3, it was dope to see two el fuertes ocv a set right next to each other at the same time hahaha. i was told he wasnt in the 3v3 but it seemed he was. he also laughed wen i tapped him on the shoulder and pointed at my elf while he was waiting for his opponent to pick his chara. a thing i noticed was that it doesnt look like he rests his right hand on the stick during rsf. it seems as if his hand floats over and only his finger tips are goin. seems he does it for timing due to the way he moves his hand around after each Fierce. i also learned that from the right distance, our over head links to super. he would rsf 3 times then run stop overhead super. his execution is amazing and he has great mix ups
