You guys have nobody but yourselves to blame for why your community is the way it is, and also why myself and most of our more accomplished players no longer want anything to do with it. It’s a chore to hang out with you guys, Cam is right, you guys care way too much about proving yourselves through meaningless money matches and pointless endeavors than actually learning and improving, which for a hobby you invest so much time in doesn’t make sense to me.
You guys want the truth? I’d rather hang out with friends and play Monopoly than play Marvel with a bunch of guys who get a raging hard on every time they come close to beating me, dismiss any friendly advice I give, or are nice to my face but talk shit behind my back regardless how big of a skill gap there may be. I know where I stand skill wise, for the last year or so I’ve lived a life most could only dream of, I don’t feel the need to prove anything, I’ve accomplished more than I ever thought I would, and I’m much better now than I was when I competed.
Bee made a fool out of himself against Justin, he may be skilled but his ego will prevent him from ever reaching his full potential, and to be honest he’s the only one that really has any, but leeching off an exceptional player can only get you so far, he himself knows this, as does Mai. While I admire the audacity you guys have, I feel like it’s overcompensation at this point, not to mention misplaced, but to each their own, knock yourselves out. But as your friend Bee I highly advise against biting off more than you can chew, in all honesty I would not bet on you against east coast at your current skill level, just as I would not bet on Joker against Fanatiq. I know my limits, you should know yours, no offence. Of course I welcome you to prove me wrong, it’s one bet I’d gladly lose, I’ll still cheer you on regardless.
Anyways, hate to dodge and run, but I think I’ve said all I need to say. And just to clarify, I don’t hate you guys, in fact some of you I’m actually quite fond of, I just prefer to keep my daily drama to a minimum, nothing personal.
