zangief is 6-4 gief. that lp spd range is way too cheap. it’s almost the range of dudley’s max range st.HP. dudleys pokes > giefs pokes, but gief can buffer his pokes just like gief and gief can get in, that’s where the trouble begins. i really hate this matchup, too. it’s horrible… imo.
also there are much better ways to use SSB… but in the words on thirtyfour,

thats kinda what i figured, at least dudley has some pokes though, i mained abel the first 6 months of vanilla and that matchup was like 7-3 zangief.
