Well from the ibuki, dudley, makoto trailer you already can see he can do j.fp > rh > mgb. just replace that with ex.
According to logan sama, he said that you can link a ducking upper after an ex mgb.
So thats one potential juggle. But yeah can’t get any real info till the game is out.

Why all the Gen hate?
The character does not appeal to them and so they over-exaggerate that he’s horrible.
That and/or they suck at beating him.

While that is technically true–it didn’t affect the aesthetic of his character in 3s at all. I mean in SF2, Guile’s win quote was " GO HOME AND BE A FAMILY MAN!" no matter who he fought–and while that’s funny in gesture because it wasn’t intentional to be sexist it just was something people accepted in the game. I guess the industry has changed so much that people want to nitpick things but–I can see why that’s probably the reason he doesn’t say " Let’s Fight Like Gentlemen" in his intro. He might have it as a taunt since I recall someone saying something about that in this thread. It sounds something so “new school” to complain about though but eh the industry is changing so I guess no one wants G4 to rant and rave and whine over something so insignificant.
I really can’t wait to get my hands on the game to experiment with the character and find out the creative things that make him so good in SSF4. At least March 1 is next week.
They probably want the feel of when he says it, which is (maybe) during his rival scene with Balrog. Right before they are about to fight is when he might say it.
At the end of this weeks blog they already said Makoto was next, sadly we have to wait.

i think that’s a little odd.
i wonder why they didn’t just keep him 3s, since they said they wanted to make the 3s characters play like in 3s as best they could.

Prusumably you’re talking about his charge move, although it would have been nice if you had actually mentioned that, since no-one was talking about it, and it’s not obvious exactly what you’re talking about. Secondly, no, Honda, Chuln Li, Gen, Bison and possibly others have a mix. Thirdly, they’re not trying to keep them accurate to 3s, in fact in the propaganda, I don’t remember them using the term “third strike” very much at all. They talk about “Street Fighter 3”, which is why Ibuki has her 2i SA as an Ultra, and why Dudley has his 2i upsidedown uppercut. It’s a charge move because the original motion was taken by another move in 3s.

I agree. In order to prevent Street Fighter from appearing sexist, instead of Dudley coming out and saying “Lets fight like gentlemen!” he should say “Lets fight like gentlepeople!” Thats more politically correct. :wgrin:
