Remember those ‘UK rappers’ that were playing the game? I’m the DJ. I am somewhat fond of Street Fighter. And now I am allowed to talk about it.

I’ll start off with the fact that Duck goes straight through all fireballs, no armour it just goes through.

Timing is important. But it’s not difficult. And there’s a lot of recovery on it. It’s completely safe from range as a way of avoiding fireballs. When you get closer you need to know the different distances the kicks take you. And you can cancel either the Uppercut or Straight into Super or FADC for a combo.

Ducking straight breaks armour, Ducking upper does 2 hits.

The Thunderbolt move does 2 hits and is an untechable knockdown. The distance is dependent on the strength of button you press. EX does 5 hits.

Cross Counter only works against mid and high attacks. It doesn’t follow Focus properties like Gouken’s Parry. Reversals don’t beat it. Multi hits don’t beat it. Dudley takes damage from it, but it is a very small smount.

An amusing glitch I noticed is if you have a sliver of health left and you do the Cross Counter; you will get KO’d from the damage, then do the Cross Counter, then drop to the floor.

Anyways, i’m curious to see how his corner game turns out. Also, i cannot wait to see some sort of gameplay so we can figure out what exactly they’ll nerf for the current builds apparent “top tier” dudley. Til next week and beyond it’s all good hearted speculation.

I don’t know much about Dudley from 3S but a boxer character that isn’t a charge character (from what I hear) sounds pretty fun. Damn, like honestly… SSF4 is gunna be so hype. I’m calling in sick that day at work without a doubt.

I mean, I like Dudley and all, but if Capcom had the balls to do it, I’d laugh for days. And then I’d go back to waiting for more word on Vega and Cody.
