Of course it’ll friggin’ work you bojo. There’s already tons of combos for Corkscrew Cross that use less meter than uppercut FADC. Hell, I heard a lot of his 3S combos still work. If the best you got is DP > FADC > ultra you need to brush up on your Dudley.

It would be crazy if they worked mid-screen (without FADC). I hope they don’t, actually. But they actually probably will. I have a feeling anywhere you can do ducking uppercut you can just throw out raw ultra and it will work.
I have a feeling that ultras in SSF4 will be seen a lot more often for virtually everybody. Which might be why they’re toning the damage down on them. It seems like all the new characters have half a dozen mid-screen setups for ultra.

I’m not sure where I heard this, but I think they’re both corner. Mid-screen I think the only follow up is his Ducking Uppercut/Straight.

Yea, the recovery off the EX is fast enough to combo. If you have ultra Corkscrew Cross works, and if you don’t have ultra you can always follow up with Ducking Upper/Straight or just HP I think.
So at the noodle shop today, me and my mates were counting our fingers right… counting the number of specials & chains Dudley and the other 3S guys have right. And then we counted Guile’s and group lol’d.

Well of course it didn’t work in 2I, it was terrible in 2I. Hands down Dudley’s worst move ever. It has nowhere to go but improve in SSF4.

I bet Dudley’s focus is something like what he did back in 3s with the same input as focus, you know that MP+MK overhead mini jump hit that evaded low kicks
