Most of the cast have kept 90% of their normals and special in SF4 they got some new moves but the great majority of them remains the same as before. So we know approximatively all Dudley’s move. You’re ligne was pointless PERIOD.

Really though, I’m looking forward to playing Dudley alongside Balrog, it’ll allow for a nice change of pace. Dudley will be able to go forward more than Balrog can in certain match-ups. So annoying having to be a wall against Tiger Knee.

Well, it is interesting to point out in the DISCUSSION II thread…it’s mentioned that the Keno podcast has made Ono and Capcom re-think about the current game(in other words, they didn’t expect the info to spread so fast on the net, and they might nerf all the good points he mentione’d in the podcast-Sagat, Ryu, the 4 new characters all being good)
So…dare I say it…will the 3S characters be nerfed last minute?

Its a weird feeling that some of you guys like dudley so much yet know so little. Im not saying his third strike version is gonna be similar or not to sf4 but if you get surprised by shit like cross counter then what the hell. Come on at least look up some gameplay on him or something.

Anyways…i originally had the fear of dudley being top tier because i figured everyone and their mothers would be using him. But then i realized that he doesn’t have a fireball, so whatever capcom do what you want. Our gentlemen deserves that top spot.

I think he’s become a meme of sorts…i have friends who don’t even play yet walk around saying shit like “gutter trash”.
I’m betting only the once, as that was already character specific in 3S. And if he can now, I’m sure it’s on the nerf list. I just wish lp. mgb still juggled on the last hit.

It’s still possible to lose with an OP character. That doesn’t make them any less OP.
Their ridiculously good tools can still give you advantages over other characters, even if you don’t “win every tournament with ease.” That’s not the point. The point is that, win or lose, some people don’t like being granted advantages over large portions of the roster before the fight even starts.
