Sagat was in B+ tier in alpha 3 below 8 other characters (although one of them was a different ism for a single character) and in alpha 2 he was 15th on the tier list!

Whenever Vega is good in a Street Fighter game he’s good for the most annoying stupid fucking reasons. I say good riddance. He had his time to shine in ST and CVS2.
I think capcom gave Dudley cr.jab ,cr.jab ,cr.mp combos so the the bandwagon that was created by Dudley being pronounced high tier(prematurely, we still dont know his matchups) will spam jab to hit confirms, basically play like ryu with DB jab jab get close repeat.And that is a safe way to lose fast with him.And then the guys who’ll use him like in third strike will come and own.Oh god if Kokujin plays Dudley again…Daigo will cry…
…you do know that hit-confirming is almost essential to any SF4 character right? I mean, I’m all for s.hk xx EX Machine Gun Blow but getting safe and guaranteed damage while also increasing your mixup options with jabs is better than throwing out unsafe (?) specials and wasting EX bars.
Since Dudley’s jab is going to be plus on block he’s going to have a good tick throw game like Boxer or Ryu.

Sagat and Ryu will be among the top characters in SSF IV,but they aren’t as good as they were before.I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s a pack of 5-6 fighters at the top: Dudley,Ibuki,Sagat,Ryu,Seth and Chun Li.If Chun isn’t top,I can see Juri in the top since she’s got a lot of potential.
I think we will be seeing far more viable character this time around,even if some of the weakest from vanilla are even worse this time around.
I honestly see Chun as being top in this game. This new ultra of hers has definitely opened the door for her between mid-top and top. Despite the mediocre AA option of hers, she has the tools to contend. I mean, on the current list she pretty much almost there.
Well IMO so far Viper still has the advantage against her even with that new Ultra so if she is going to be top tier she still is going to have an unfavorable matchup against a character that rapes her health with or without ultra. Viper has a bunch of ways to beat EX SBK also so unless Chun’s normals got super buffed or she got better health she still isn’t winning that match. Rufus may still be trouble as well. Plus who knows with all of these zany new characters.
