I made a Dubstep mix just for replacing the music in Marvel 3.
I know alot of people in the community have enjoyed the combo videos that have featured this genre of music so I made a 59min mix for them to download and enjoy.

I don’t listen to much Dubstep, but I do love Burial’s album. It’s so moody and perfect for listening to while you walk around at night in the city.

one of my favorite tracks.
I only got into dubstep about 2 years ago after hearing it so much for years. I never really “understanding” the sound; it’s like extremely slow dnb or slow hip-hop with gross bass lines and wobbles.
I still think that Bassnectar’s Kiss FM live mix is one of the sickest (dubstep) mixes I’ve ever heard.

Any recommendations on artists or tracks to look out for? I dig the sounds of Datsik, Skream, 16bit, Bassnectar, Rusko, Skrillex, but feel I’m so far behind and missing out on so much good stuff I don’t even know where to begin.

I’m going to see Rusko in Minneapolis later this month, so hyped. Also both Nero and I think Chase and Status have EP’s due this month, can’t fuckin wait.

Dubstep sucks
I agree that a lot of what people call dubstep–stuff that sounds like rock music, with that horible wobble crap, rather than the old skool hardcore garagey stuff it came from–is horrible. The stuff we eat up in the USA is horrible mosh pit music.
James Blake, Kode9, and Burial should make you go “wel lit’s not bad.”
