Personally, I liked Cozza Frenzy, but in general I like his sound and his mixing.
Went to my first dubstep concert yesterday. Had some pretty good DJs like Doorly who practically played a set mixed with house, reggae, hip hop, dnb, samba while playing with the mpc. Thought the speakers were loud cause it shook the floor.
But when Rusko came in after his set the bass was twice as loud. Luckily I brought earplugs just in case. I work at the airport and the speakers were almost louder than the 737 engines. It was fun and but go sooo crowded when Rusko came in. But seriously I don’t think the speakers should be THAT loud.

I went to the Rusko and Doorly show in toronto last month. Sick time, the new rusko tracks are BEAST his next album is gonna be nuts.
Im going to check out Zeds Dead with Drop the Lime , Canblaster , the Killabits & Torro Torr on June 4th.
I recently saw Rusko in Nola… he was pretty good. The show was better than the music.
The more I listen to dubstep though to more I dislike it. Its really only good to me now if I roll which isn’t often at all.
This guy just keeps bring up some crazy dubstep videos. He makes me wanna try this.

Went to see Zeds Dead at the Pheonix last week. Probably the best dubstep show you can go to. Check them out when they come to your city it was fucking intese, way iller than the Rusko show.

I finally heard some dub step. I can see why people are into it, but I think it’s interesting how popular it has become (speaking locally).

dub has been on the rise for the past few years…it just seriously exploded in the past 2 years. not shocked though…i saw that shit comin hahah. but yeah it is kinda crazy how it exploded sooo big.

Its popular because people love bass, same reason why ignant southern hiphop is popular. Its popular because when you go to one of the events and see everyone losing their shit and having a great time its a great experience. Its popular because its a different and interesting sound that is still easily danceable. People like music that hits hard and gets you amp’ed up.

Dubstep is cool, just like any other genre of music. It’s not my favorite, but it’s still fun to listen to. I’m a bigger fan of house, personally.
