so what you guys think of this new form of electronic music? I really like it even though I just got into it.:lovin: its a good break from all of the Drum’n’Bass I listen too:wgrin:
Well considering its electronic, it probably a real leap to call it a new genre.
yep its quite awesome. heres a good mix set its from DJ Skream one of the most popular dubstep artists out there. He was on “the essential mix”

will try this when i get home. thx
I used to think that dubstep would clear dancefloors with the quickness, but some of these 2007 productions have been changing my mind more and more.
I can’t really ID tracks since I’ve only heard some heat inside of sets, but the dupstep that bleeds into other genres so that it sounds like 4/4 or breakbeat is magical in my book.
you welcome :lovin:
the birthplace of this music is from the UK(garage)
heres an excellent Dubstep site for mixes
yeah its amazing,I recently heard a track that sounds like a nuskool breakbeat:wonder:
very nice track. me likes
Your avatar freaks me the fuck out. What is that thing?
Not bad.
Usually I prefer my electronica to have complicated melody lines, and I’m not really into DnB so I’m not used to stuff that sounds as “simple” as this.
I’ll have to look into this some more.
It’s Vivi! Black mage, ff9.

EDIT: I retract my statement after realizing it was about Scrimplez AV…
By the way. why the hell does dubstep sound like nothing but 8-bit dungeon music.
I like Garage and I like 2-Step. Subscribes.
Interesting. I can’t bob my head to it though.
The only exception to that rule is Darude - Sandstorm, which causes me to convulse due to the awesomeness of the track.
yep its origins come from those genres,I think the reason why I fell in love with it is because it samples alot from Reggae. which is the my favorite music(grew up with it)
Teknik edit: Here are some online radio stations
hehe  not all of it sounds like that.
Just really heavy basslines
Dubstep is getting BIG. Especially in Chicago. First time I heard it I was like, "Wtf, it’s dnb at half speed but more bass and energy…
I heard a Joanna Newsom dubstep remix in a Joe Nice set the other day. That’s how hot dubstep is. Joanna muthafugin Newsom.
yep I live near chicago (1 hour drive) the Im really into Drum & Bass(big fan/dubstep thats the first thing i said too when i first hear dubstep.
any good clubs?
I’m checking this out… thanks for the info!:wgrin:
