hmm what type of sound you lookin for? then I can go from there.
Damn man, this is the shit. Listening to one of the radio streams (dubstep fm) I love bass heavy music. Thanks for the recomendation…btw how do people dance to this in club? any examples?
Oh dude, you should totally come out with me sometime then. Every first friday of the month they have hot dupstep business at Lava Lounge. They’ve had Plastician, Banga & Hetcha, Joe Nice, couple others there.
There is also a core group of dj’s that spin dubstep and have random nights all about. Look out for the likes of Cringer, Timid, Phaded, Four/4, and a couple others I can’t remember.
Drum n bass is more frequent though. Every Wednesday at Lava, every other thursday or so at Smartbar, bunch of random places.
gotcha son its sort of weird. I dance to as if im dancing to reggae.
it really just depends on the song entirely. here are some weird vids of people dancing to it.

essentially just go with the flow. I wish youtube had “real” vids of dubstep dance
sadly im most likely too young to go to the clubs just wondering…noone around here likes this kind of music ( they that emo mess) hey isnt chi-towns DnB scene big?
edit: I just heard that plastician set.
WTF at that second vid ha ha ha. Some of the liquid dancers I’ve seen in person would slap that kid upside the head, all fluid like.
And to answer your question…it’s big, but not as big as it should be. Chicago is a House town, so it overshadows any other dance music being played.
dang i expeceted that. I have much respect for house though. I know this is off-topic but im still pissed that LTJ Bukem was in chicago not too long ago
That was like his second time here too. He’ll prolly be back. He brings the most heads out of any other DnB DJ I’ve seen.
Great…more eurotrash.
This made me laugh.

This shit sounds like background music from the aquatic levels in DKC1 and 2.
lol
I will admit some tracks from sound like they could be on old school games.
I really like tracks with reggae vocalists. sort of a raggadub?!
It’s interesting. I like it more than the other types of electronic dance music out there that’s for sure.
But it sounds hella bland. Might as well listen to down tempo.
Haha cool thanks. I can actually see my self doing some sort of slow skank/ska varient dances to some of this stuff, it’s pretty dope. Some of this other stuff though just like has a weird rythem to it.
alot of dubsteps are really hollow and empty, and you’re half expecting for it to kick hard but it doesn’t, so it’s different in that regard.
its more in the chillout zone.
im telling you folks this is gonna be BIG this year
I’m not a fan, by any standards, but it’s hard to avoid here; although Indie is very popular here in Leeds at the moment, Dubstep is srpouting everywhere.
I love actual ‘Dub’ however; a form of Reggae that was prodominatly popularised in the 70s.
Yo, this shit is pimp.
Where can I get a stream of this? Any artists you can recommend?
I’m liking this too. I’ve been listening to Skream and Benga. Dubstep seems kinda like electronics answer to chopped and screwed.
