also there is a set entitled “Toronto Dubstep Warz” it’s pretty awesome.
does anyone prefer MC’s over their music?
Most MC’s suck because they don’t know when to shut the fuck up and let the music do its thing.
Especially UK MC’s. I can’t count how many mixes I’ve dled that were ruined by constantly jabbering MC’s.
isnt dubstep similar to dnb? I been listening to dnb for the past 2 years and i hear alot about dubstep. from the name it seems like changing liquid funk/positive/jump-up style dnb. nu:tone, cyantific, high contrast style.
It’s like drum n bass at half speed. Something to bob your head to.
^ essentially it is.
the main reason why I like it so much is because it is so similar to DnB being a DnB nut.
I wouldn’t call dub-step new. If you are going to go this route, you should just take a few extra steps and get into breakcore or IDM. Get some flashbulb. That should get you off right.
ahh essentially this will help me with production? Because I experiment with alot of breakbeat stuff.
This will help you find yourself and have sex with beautiful women. Then find some Ove-Naxx once you have consumed a good amount of flashbulb. Next go to worshipludachrist.com and get your bang on.
^ wow
hmmm more feedback please…
Dubstep is pretty new as a genre. Ask any DJ who knows about dubstep and they will tell you the same thing. It’s also drastically different from breakbeat and IDM, well maybe not breakbeat as much, but it is still very different.
New linky’s
Crapload of internet radio links for every style of music…
A site that will show you similar artists to whatever style you like. GREAT for finding good artists you’ve never heard of.
And a song search engine that streams the song when you find it. Very handy.
whoa thanks^
Not hating or anything, dubstep’s dope.
It’s just that…well…new?
How old are you?

I’ve just started getting into Dub-step, if only because I happen to be a huge Big-Beat fan, and Crystal Method has some Dub-step mixes that I heard recently that piqued my interest. Sounds great so far.
why does my age always get in the way on this site? im 16 ok!?
thats it.
oh I never heard of Crystal Method I will surely check this out.
that is a nice tune quite indeed.
I agree with Basik and say dubstep is new, not new as in just recently came out, but as in, it’s the latest subgenre of music to appear, unless there is something newer out? Perhaps hiphop Bhangra?

^ naw thats been around for sometime, Im sure my sister got me into this kind of stuff sometime ago.
I love how in the interview how Rekha says America needs to be more diverse with music. It’s true.
Listening to Burial right now.
Last night I went to a glitch hop party. The main DJ was pure glitch hop, but then the other DJs were spinning this really dark, broken beat music that just completely put me into a dance trance. I had no idea what it was until I talked to a DJ after the party.
Apparently, the music was “dubstep.”
I’ve been downloading the Dubstep Allstars series and researching this music all day. I’m smitten.
