that is a very…bad? variation of an UWT reset you’re going to want them as low to the ground as possible from what I’ve seen it’s better to finish the spider bite DOWN and then pop them up with a c.

even the video poster knows it isn’t very viable it’s just a variation of the reset, and a pretty poor one =/
There are much easier ways to catch people. Standing H XX UWT at the end of a long combo is probably the easiest and has the best results.

I kind of need some opinions on a level 3 x-factor Spider-man combo I’ve been messing around with. Evo kind of inspired me to mess with X-factor level 3 Spider-man to understand him better.
Call me silly, but I can’t help but name the first combo Arachnophobia. lol
x-Factor activate c :l:, c , c :h:, :l: web-swing, j:h:, j:s:, c , c :h:, web-swing, j:h:, j:s:, s:m: s:h:, :h:Spider-sting/spider-bite c:h:, :s:, j:m:, j:m:, j:h:, :h: web-swing, cancel into Maximum Spider.
This one netted in 1,313,700 damage but the timing is very tricky.
The other one—I doubt it would normally work in a match but I was just messing around and surprised it even works.
x-Factor activate c :l:, c , c :h:, :l: web-swing, j:h:, j:s:, c , c :h:, web-swing, j:h:, j:s:, s:m: s:h:, :h:Spider-sting/spider-bite , c:h:, :s:, j:m:, j:m:, j:h: web-swing, cancel into web-zip :df: . Wait until you are half way down to the ground, j.:h:, land and Ultimate Web throw.
Clearly, you can follow up for more damage, but everything under the sun is dead at this point.
I’m not sure how this holds up against smaller characters since I’ve just been pounding the crud out of Wesker for a bit.
Two tricky parts about these combos is the fact that the c. after the first j. :h:, j. :s: has to be air tight. There’s a -slight- moment where you need to wait so that the c. :h: will hit. The second is after the launcher, you have to let whoever you are beating the snot out of catch some air. Otherwise, the j. :h: will wiff.
Oh. And the combo is corner okay only. Otherwise, Spidey will just swing right past them with medium web-swing.
Anyone know how to get the dash under after you web zip ? im having trouble -____-
Just do a dash as soon as you land. For dashing, use the stick, not the attack buttons.
Make sure after the zip you are hitting them with j:h: that’s the only way you can dash under the opponent unless you are using an assist that will hold them in place.

depending on how late you hit the j.:h: after your falling from the web swing/zip/cancel you can land a H web throw which depending on if you’re in the corner or midscreen you can spidersting into another magic series into the air and get a maximum spider for over 1.1mil (which is dead everything)

thats what i use or use s. L which gives me time to see if they take the bait to forward tech then i just H. web throw them since there are directly above me or UWT

You’re supposed to do a jump cancel for the web throw to come out. Instead of doing HCB+:h:, you have to do HCB then an up motion [either :ub:, :u: or :uf:] + :h:.
Also make sure you’re in the corner. It only works in the corner now. :sad:
