It seems that they also have a deal with Aqua+ seeing the image of Tamaki, Multi and co. at the end.

I knew that Mai retain her 2D fighting game mechanics (such as special move cancels & jump attacks) since Street Fighter’s Akuma has his own 2D fighting game mechanics in Tekken 7. I dunno if she retains her own super/EX gauge or not there.

I knew fans would be only during her power blow move. But at least she transitioned nicely to the game. Disappointed for her DLC pack selection. I hoped for a Real Bout, AnotherMai and maybe an Andy skin like in MI2. But I’ll happily try her.
By the way, Kasumi gets Kasumi’s clothes.

Interesting. It says you can cancel moves like her 4P into what would be Special Moves from KOF. Wonder how many moves you can cancel into her other attacks.

Actually, she does have Kachousen as a normal projectile, it’s just that apparently her Power Blow actually uses TWO of her Supers in one. And it was obvious her DLC pack selection was going to aim that route, it’s her DEFAULTS which you hope has her other costume selection.

Yep, she can cancel normals into specials like 2D characters. Apparently, she has all of her specials in the her series.

I am excited as hell. This is what I have gotten from the video:
0:08 = That move is based on Mai’s far st.C (far standing hard punch). Mid punch and causes a stun on NH. So her “st.C” is her 8P attack.
She uses a punch in the mix and then performs her Shinobi Bachi (Her hcf+K) to finish the combo. PPPK… A special move within a string.
There is a wall splat on Shinobi Bachi.
0:13 = SS… P+K? I never seen that before. It looks like she using the “tail” of her clothing to attack the opponent like she does with her stand CD attacks (as of KOFXIII and KOFXIV). Whatever that move is causes a stun on NH. Seems to work sort of like Nyotengu’s SSK but considering Mai’s reputation, her’s is probably a little faster. The last hit on PPK is her “close standing D” (her close standing hard kick). Ryuenbuu (which looks like the C version of it) is her 3PP… interesting. AH, of course she would have an air throw! As diabolical as it is, she can rack up some good damage from environmental floor hazards this way!
0:21 = Mai will start the combo off with her st.D (standing hard kick)… she didn’t always have that move animation however as it shows up inconsistently throughout most cross-overs and KOF games (it was definitely present in KOFXIII and in CVS2).
Oh wow… Kagero no Mai is a quarter circle input I see… That string at the very end is based on Mai’s df+B from KOF98. I loved using that move against Omega Rugal to slip underneath that fire ball of his (Gravity Smash).
0:24 = 2P+K is based on Mai’s crouching C (crouching hard punch).
And, it looks like another one of my theories were right: Her DP+K from 98 is used as a Power Launcher. Beautiful. Just beautiful.
Then she jumps after the opponent to deliver a strike and the perform her air Musasabi… Jumping is 9P…
0:36 = After that fan attack, she uses her f+B from KOF98, which in that game is an overhead that can be utilized as a combo starter. In this game, it causes a sit-down stun.

Power Blow!!
She basically uses… TWO of her DM’s in her Power Blow. First after striking the opponent with the initial input, she will perform her qcf+P where she will toss three fans at you (in her own games, the fans will burn if you use a strong version or if you are in Max mode). Then she performs her Chou Shinobi Bachi which is her qcbhcf+K input which can also be used in midair.

Well, one of us already knew from beginning since she’s recently announced for this game & felt she may have 2D fighting game mechanic (such as special cancels and jump attacks) since Street Fighter’s Akuma’s appearance and gameplay in Tekken 7

But I have one question.

Because Mai’s bust size was never as huge as the artists made it out to be. They usually exaggerated the hell out of it and only recently barely paid any attention to her ass and thighs which is pretty huge if you check her BWH.

In DOA, Mai…really isn’t all that up to snuff to the other females in comparison in that department and easily gets outgunned by multiple females even moreso than KOF.

I find it interesting that her introduction might be a snide at Tekken 7’s Akuma. Didn’t realize that until last week sadly :(.

Many of us at FreeStepDodge(mainly me mostly at first…I think, I take and don’t take credit lol) noticed that ourselves after a day she was announced.
