Can someone enlighten me on why the hate Alpha gets? One of the commentors on NEC was hating on her with a passion during top 8.
She has a 23 or 25 frame throw that does 149 damage on hi-counter life bar. She has string delays and the longest strings in the game.
Not saying she deserves the hate, just explaining the biggest complaints.
However, should be noted that Sweet Revenge actually came to the tournament expecting to fight Alpha and Helena, and look what happened: XCB didn’t go back to her or helena. Shows what happens when players study matchups instead of bitching about nerfs/hacks.

I’m not sure if this has been mentioned, but Hitomi is free now if you download Core Fighters. If you already have the game just download it again and then immediately cancel the download, go to your history and you’ll find a Hitomi key instead of the game.

Dead Or Alive 5 Ultimate Arcade Match Archive From Kohatsu Game Center
So I played some of DOA5U arcade edition yesterday and damn the cabinets are DEAD. I went to two locations, one in Ikebukuro and the other closer to my place and the game was not being played at all.
Hopefully it grows enough to stick around, but I managed to play like 4 or 5 matches with the same person before getting off.
Each time I’ve been to Japan the arcades have been basically empty until 7pm at night on the weekdays. I’m told that the popular spot for DOA looks to be Hey! In akihabara.
I was at the arcade until like 9pm and no one showed up for the game. People came for tekken, gundam, ae, blazblue.
Guess the game just needs to grow a bit more
