How exactly is a random SRK less risky than Yun’s options/pressure game? And when/how are you ever going to get a hard knockdown?
Doesn’t it depend on the SRK with Palm cause i’ve seen palms beat out SRKs.
I wouldn’t say he’s broken but he’s for sure the best character in the game. On top of having easy ass rush down, he’s got a back-dash that can easily get him out of pressure. I would say if his command grab was as hard to land as Fei’s and his back-dash was toned down, he would be a solid high tier but not approaching broken.
Yun is exactly what a 900 hp glass cannon should be
Exactly. Also, his dive kicks are only safe on block if they hit at the knee or below. Otherwise, he’s forced to eat a full punish; beyond that, though, the kicks don’t have a lot of priority in general. They’re AA’d relatively easy (For instance, DJ’s c.roundhouse beats it clean almost every time. The timing doesn’t look difficult, either). Feel free to try it in training mode, or just face a random shoryuken-mashing-bad in Endless or Ranked. You’ll see what I’m talking about incredibly fast.
Cause he isn’t. You’re just lazy and won’t learn the match ups.
and no, I don’t care what japan says.
This.
Dare to say he’s not broken at all.
He’s not broken
yun and yang aren’t broken. you have no idea how many times i have jabbed both the twins out of their dive kick as a AA or on block string. Yang isn’t broken I find him very viable like how balrog was in ssf4 but not as good Straight forward. Yun has only 1 broken move and that is the ex lunge punch.
Go to training room and practice the timing.
Fei Long
ex lunge punch has fast start up, but low priority and he CAN be hit out of it. So he can’t just toss them out for free. Seems like knowing your ranges is the key to playing/beating Yun
Yep. Like 99% of the people on this forum. Its easier to cry for nerfs than it is to learn how to play.
Also, EX Lunge punch is easy as fuck to react to from far away and its only +1 on block. If thats broken, I don’t know what to tell you.
Bison’s S.RH.
Ultra there lunge punch on reaction for giggles
sounds like another person complaining, once again…
can someone explain to me why he’s regarded as better than yang?
At this point I really don’t think he’s that broken. You still need good footsies and ground game to win. It’s just his meter building and the options you get with the +1 frame from the ex lunge.
Pretty much.
Okay, we need a new matchup thread, I called it as soon as the other one was made that the fucker wouldn’t keep it updated, anyone want to volunteer? Otherwise I’ll do it, I’m on all the damn time anyways.
