^^ I haven’t tried at a far distance… But I would think you would have to be fairly close for cuttin time to hit them.
Is it just me, or did someone else figure out that “quick guns” are still around? :bgrin: I found it during one of the trials. I forget which one but it ends with the air Happy-Happy Trigger.
EDIT: well, you can only get one off, not multiple like cable used to. But it’s fun to do nonetheless.
How do you stop a runaway Deadpool? i have fought numerous ones that are fairly knowledgeable and spam his guns until it hit confirms. If I try to jump in he just slides under me and keeps on running.
I usually run Zero/Taskmaster, Dormammu, and Doom (rocks). It is really risky to teleport in or try to beat his shots without it trading or it leading to me getting hyper comboed.
So any ideas on how to get around this or what you guys usually fear when you play as Deadpool?
Zero can get in and stay in against anyone… air dash into command dash makes you cross up from full screen. and u can just block if they try anything else… once you are in, they need to pushblock, and thats where your command dashes and also your forward+H help you stay in… then u can cross up with ur command dash (which crosses people up) and really screw with them when u have doom rocks on one side, and zero flipping to the other…
Teleports blow up Deadpool if he doesn’t have the proper assist to handle it imo, so I’d just tele in with Dormammu after flying over his guns. Teleporters and other high priority normal spammers (ammy and zero) pretty much force me to run Tron flame or Gold Hsein Ko. But it’s good because it exploits a huge weakness these guys have. They teleport or mash thinking they won a free hit already cause they’ve never lost an exchange before and then they lose a character. It takes good timing with the assist, but its probably the best scrub killing tool I have.
I thought I’d bring up the question here because it wasn’t addressed in the other thread. How do other Deadpool mains handle teleporters with high priority aerials like Dante? Is zoning completely out of the question for these matchups? Does Deadpool have any anti-airs with fast enough startup to react to teleports? Can a zoning Deadpool only survive with a gtfo assist?

if you don’t trust your air throws (say because you’re playing online) try letting them tele on you and anti-air with S or even cr.H against certain characters

hey just some friendly advice, why dont you do thors might punish( the throw hyper) instead of the tornado? Its one of the DHC Glitches. The MP will whiff and you can do a full combo right after. Massive damage. I do the same thing with Hulk and Gamma Quake. I’ve tested it and def works for Thor. Hell of alot easier too than Hulks lol
how are u getting a combo off of gamma quake? i try to connect with cr :h: but its always too slow. what are u doing to combo?
Hit with Gamma Quake while they are at the top off the screen after the Dhc from cutting time. If it hits on the bottom, combo wont work. After quake hits, mash launcher until they fall into it. You can then MMHSxx gamma wave xx gamma crush (gamma tsunami ). Hope that helps.
Its also possible to DHC into Zero qcb hyper though timing is different. hes my Alt.
Actually I think I misinformed you, Its not a true dhc glitch, more like a reset. The quake does indeed hit when i do it, but for some reason the combo notation resets even though I have the comp on auto block. So there is a chance they can block it However if they arent paying attention do the gamma quake near the end of the combo, and hit lancher when they fall and fall into whatever combo. Sorry for the misinformation. Good way to catch ppl off guard though. Ill post a vid

Not so sure anymore now, Because in the second vid, the combo meter continues though the damage resets? I know trag says to do it before the final hit why I think its a reset. Thoughts? Can anyone with better execution try it out and inform me plz? Thanks

This thread is annoying and it just won’t die… just like Deadpool.
I’ve been trying out this combo from Tragic : [media=youtube]e1FZ0J57PdM[/media] and it seems to work perfectly fine while doing it on american captain and zero but I tried doing it on ryu, it seems like the dash -> c.M won’t hit ryu. I haven’t gotten it to hit him as far as I have been for the last couple hours.
Can anyone help?
You should’ve asked in the Deadpool forums.
Ryu doesn’t seem that good though, unless you still get trapped by his hadoukens or end up getting hit by mashing light kicks into a combo or something. The combos in mission mode should work on every character of any size.
