Did Someone Say Chimichanga? - Deadpool Thread Reloaded!

I’ve come across a couple different players using Deadpool with Shuma assist, pineapple surprise hyper jump spam with shuma mystic laser spam every time he touches the ground. I can normally adapt but this particular set-up prevents my characters to move forward after hyper jump or regular. x-23 is my main, with storm/sent/akuma/shuma/c.america as my swap assists.

Any thoughts?

I’d use Akuma. Considering guarding builds meter super fireball the hell out of that assist it will make him a little more hesitant to call him. Akuma’s fireball super after hold H is one of the fastest beam supers in the game.

Attack the assist until he stops bringing him out or he dies.

Deadpool is vulnerable after any projectile thrown in air, almost any super will catch him. If hes not super jumping then u cant be bothered with the grenade. But say he is just keep super jumping in. Deadpool has low life for a reason. or just snap in the octopus and send him to a seafood restaurant :stuck_out_tongue:

Get X-23 off of point if you can’t handle command dashing in.

If you have 3 meters, do the counter super, tron cant cancel into anything if she’s doing j.h, and it doesnt matter if it crosses you up, the counter will still activate.

Most players have tron 2nd or 3rd, if you have deadpool 2nd or 3rd, you can follow up the counter with h.kata -> combo -> slicing time -> DHC trick. Granted, this requires 5 meters. Also requires you to plan ahead on how to save meter to fight tron.

Also if deadpool has XF2, you can do an alternate quickwork loop after the counter, then DHC from there if you think you can kill the tron with it, if not, try going for a reset.

If deadpool is last, after the counter super, you can h.kata -> quickwork loop (XF3).

Did the bolo loop get patched out? If it is still there when do you throw the bolo, is it as soon as you neutral super jump up, or do you hesitate a bit before tossing the bolo?

I personally find Magneto & DP a good combination for each other.Deadpool can serve as agreat battery character with good combos,but if you mix Crossover Assists between the two you’ll be able to deal a killer 800,000-1,100,000 damage with no X-factor and only 4-5 h.c bars.If anyone’s interested I can show it to them,just reply and I’ll show ya.

played some deadpool in matches today for like the first time. What’s a good jump in with him? I’ve been struggling getting down some of his stuff because of his acrobatic playstyle. I want to run the tatsu was running, X23/deadpool/Sent it’s vital that I improve my deadpool game.

Deadpool has some safe moves that you can use if the opponent is blocking you, like cr. l,m,h,QCF mm for the pineapple (grenade).With this small combo you can get away from punishment from your opponent and deal some good chip.I hope this rather small bit of info helped.

You guys know any good players on streams who play Deadpool? All I know is Tatsu and Spooky.
