I’m surprised that it works on the majority of the characters, actually.

So in summary the characters you should be aware about using it on is: Sagat, Guy, Akuma, Vega, Adon, Fuerte, Ibuki, and maybe Juri.

c.mp>c.mk>SK/PC is my standard jumpin combo. I love the way it looks too. I don’t like to use it after a crump very often because its hard to link consistently for me after the FA… idk why thats just me though.

Would this be a good frame trap crouching light kick to crouching hard punch the spacing fit perfect

yep it can be used as a frame trap. It has hella recovery as well, so its prb best to only use it when your sure your opponet is crouch teching at a generally far spaced c.lk. Which pretty much no good player will do. But it would work well for the scrubbies and mediocer players.

I have nothing but the s.lp to s.lk cancel into lp or mp sk

I was messing around in training and I noticed c.mp, c.mk whiffed a lot on a standing bison.
I landed it once goofing around vs. CPU bison, though.
c.mp, c.lk also whiffed.

Many theoretical strong Bison combos have a serious spacing problem. c.mp, c.mk is one of them. Even tighter, cs.mk, c.mk or cs.hp, s.lk, s.hk.

They’re all very character specific just like a lot of combos in this game. It just deepens the character a lot if you can learn and know these things.

I prefer c.mp, c.lk, but character have strong reversal is kind of mind game, sometime you just can’t bait it out, and maybe they can use this bait out motion to turn to against you.

well testing some more, but whiff a lot of s.HP/s.HK in front of them can make them do SRK after block the Scissor, not all the case…

and personally, If I can do it perfect, I will chose c.lpx2 into c.MK, and if still in range and block I will try bait out or do c.MP for poke instead s.MK since it can get connect something.
c.lpx3 into c.lk is very good too

C.mp, s.mk hits pretty much all the time I think but, the damage isn’t anything special

What’s the agreed upon best not charge punish? People keep crossing over me when i block their reversals and I get mind fucked and just go for a throw

I’m not sure on the best but for a non charge punish I usually go c.jab, s.jab, s.short x2 into RH.

i mostly do,

J. HP > C. lP x2 > C.LK > C.MP then EX. Psycho Crusher, sometimes the MP connects & sometimes i get cought, if the opponent reads it, i reverse to J.HK> S.LP > C.Lk x2 Then lk scissors or headstomp. its a mind game though lol

Anyway, i’ll try those combos, kinda like’em since i need to devolp Bison.

I’m working on kinda hit confirms and frame trap on jump ins. But it’s hard to react when you get home from a 10hour work shift nah mean!

j.HP (hit) c.MP xx HP Psycho or HK Knee
j.HP (block) c.MP (bait) s.MK (trap)

if j.HP (hit) s.HP xx HP Psycho or HK Knee

I think c.mp, s.mk is the only no charge punish you can do at range that is better than a throw and the link is too hard to make it worth the extra 10 damage.

if you’re close enough you can charge duing your combo with bnb for a full punish.
