Has anyone tried using this new “Plinking” method of entering inputs? If so has it made it easier for you to link to C.mk etc? Anxious to try it, stuck at work though.

just curiuos trying to find this on bison forums. but i just saw a video where he did 2x s.HK and it was a combo? what’s the frames for this? or did i read it wrong?

double standing roundhouse sounds really beefy. if it’s doable does the first one have to be meaty?

but st.lk close or far can be linked into a st.rh. its good damage.

currently im trying to learn c.lk, st.lk, c.mk xx to replace c.lk x 3 xx. its so that i can hit confirm a HK SK/PC from a low. i’m also finding the best position to land ex skull dives without looking too obvious.

also, is anyone using j.mp as a jump-in yet? its apparently the new bison cool in hk.

i read about plinking. it sounds real cool but at this stage i already can do 1f links @ arcades from hand eye cordination. it’d help alot in lots of hard trials though

I’ve been using jumping MP for a while. NKI gave me the idea when he used it on me once, seems pretty effective if they know you’re not going to cross up, nice range too.

and yeah… I almost always use j.mp because of it’s prio and properties after 1 and 2 hits…

at time index :16 it really looks like he lands two s.HK early game and the game registers it as a 2 hit combo.

I recently changed my main from Claw to Dictator so yeah. I was just wondering what I do to punish a blanka player who D+F Fp like at least 8 times per round

And also that hop, I seen players try to rush me and keep going left and right and sweeping me, I block it most the time but sometimes they mix it up with a throw, what’s the best combo’s can I do to counter those? Should I S.Roundhouse them or should I c.lp c.lp lk SC?

That’s clearly 2 s hk combo, you did not see wrong. It is also clearly a counterhit for the first s hk.
Counterhit is where you interrupt their move in the startup or active frames. You definitely get a frame advantage after counterhit, that’s why if you try c lk *3 xx scissors it’s easier if you counterhit them while doing the first c lk.

JUmp in MP is good for a mind game. You jump and whiff the first MP then follow up with the second to throw off people and go into a combo from there.

If the Blanka didn’t space properly you can punish w/ c lk xx scissors. If it was spaced to just hit w/ the tip you can try FADC forward. You probably won’t hit but can initiate a block string. If you get predictable w/ FADC forward Blanka will probably have enough time to mash out electricity tho.

Handle the hop like you would a roll in CvS 2: dash out, try option select block down + tech throw, or tele/Dr out. I’m a big fan of c lk c lk clk xx scissors rather than c lp c lp c lk scissors. The reason is that c lk is faster than c lk, has longer frames (so more charge time during the link). As far as mistiming the link…they’re both links. If you can’t get the c lk to c lk you probably can’t get the c lp to c lk. I think I’ve c lp’ed Blanka out of the hop, his hitstun is like any airborne hitstun. The c lk works if you make him land on it.

Whats his most damaging juggle off of j.mp w/o the ultra.

j.mpx1, FP SP… is.

I am also thinking it is possible to do j.mpx1,FA1,Ultra? I don’t have a 360 or PS3 to try it out though :frowning:

Because it is a juggle and your ONLY juggle in your moveset*, you’re not going to get more than 1 move off of it. People have said EX PC, EX scissors are good, I just stick w/ close s hp because it does a crapload of damage.

*The only exception to this is FA. I wonder if you can FA them while they’re falling.
