You can cross up with jumping mk, hk, and hp (difficult angle though) for sure. He may have his jumping lk and lp as crossup but I’m not sure how practical those are due to damage scaling in the game.

Both heavy punch and heavy kick can be canceled into scissors.

how to cancel heavy kick into scissor? are you kdding me?

Yeah, only fierce can be canceled. Roundhouse cannot.

The following normals are able to be canceled into scissors:

s.short
c.short
c.forward
c.strong
s.fierce

Never really tried jab since I’m always combing into c.short or whatever off of it.

What is bison’s strongest combo? Not the ultra either his strongest chain/link combo.

There was a discussion a couple of pages back about comboing from an exed followup to headstomp into ultra. It is possible, but probably not in actual gameplay. I went to training mode and set the dummy to constantly walk towards me, then I got in the corner and it works. This works because you can charge the ultra the entire time after the headstomp which would normally make you move too far backwards to hit with the follow up attack. But anyways, it is possible but improbable. Maybe if the opponent dashed forward after blocking the headstomp it would work, or some other move that would move them forward.

Yeah, you would have to headstomp, then charge back while falling, observe them walking forward, THEN press PP, then combo the ultra… I wonder if in the entire lifetime of the game I will ever get the chance to do that in a real match, honestly.

Afer scissors xxFADC, is there anything that is good to do other than throw? Scissors FADC>throw is already HELLA good, but I am wondering, because if you don’t throw you are likely to BE thrown…

Also I am 99% sure today that I crossed someone up with j. fierce, because I killed him with it and the slow-mo after the end looked hella funny, I think he dashed forward as I did jump forward fierce, and crossed himself up.

Maybe if you’re playing some hyper-aggressive player and you can bait them into chasing you down after a headstomp? Meh, never really thought it’d be useful, but at least it’s possible.

J. fierce crosses up well against Sagat and Zangief, one of the matches in the video thread has a Bison who uses quite effectively.

sometimes akuma’s try and punish blocked headstomp with an ultra or super, maybe it would work on them.

I’ve been trying to do c.lp, c.lp, c.mkxx scissor kicks.

Whenever I do it, the c.mk doesn’t come out. When you input the combo, are you supposed to do the c.mk as a link?

Cr. mk is a link and you are probably pressing cr. mk way too early, it’s hellllllla late.

After the first cr. jab, a st. jab is better before the cr. mk since it gives you better frame advantage.

s.hp, s.lk, s.hk works

but does anyone know if you can do s.hp, s.lk, cr.mk, hk scissor?

I’m having difficulty linking cr.lp to s.lp, basically my stick movement to keep charging but stand up usually sends me jumping or isn’t enough and I stay crouched. Any tips?

I find it helpful to think about it like I’m rolling the stick. I always had this problem plus the problem of losing charge and so now I roll the stick from db to b, then back down. Also note the movement is really small in the grand scheme of things…think about how quickly you can do a qcb motion…it’s 1/2 of that.
