I have been doing c.mp to c.lk into scissors. The damage isn’t that much better but it is easier to link that than c.mp into c.mk. I also didn’t know that you can link two s.mk’s. If you are close and do it he hits them in the shin, then you time it again and do the kick to the mid section. Not very useful but did it on accident.
Pretty useful for pressure, if you get a scissor kick pseudo pressure string going, then just pause at some random moment to see if they whiff anything punishable.
It works without the c.mk.
For anyone that can help: I have heard that from Hell Attack (jmp. MP x2) you can land LP Pyscho Crusher. I’ve never actually seen it, so I don’t quite know the timing. A. Is there a trick to it, and B. is it really that practical since you could just do one jmp. MP, land, and reset? Thanks a lot! :tup:
You can EX PC but honestly I don’t see the point in doing so. The damage is worse than j.mp, st.hp and you lose an EX stock. Plus if you st.hp, you reset them and get a mixup.
Is it possible to combo from the EX punch that comes after Head Stomp? (name of attack escapes me…) The EX punch lasts a little longer and it seems like I should be able to string a normal into Scissors Kick after that but I can’t for some reason.
You can actually combo with or without the EX

Ridiculous. I’m having trouble with c.lp, c.lp, c.mk, but the c.lp, s.lp, c. mk feels easier.
lol, I found this on accident and it’s super easy.
I combo into c.mp (which I shouldn’t) with zero effort.
Note sure if the headstomp combos into the rest of it, but the fist hit after the headstomp will combo into c.mp or c.mk super easy. I haven’t tried other stuff yet, but I’m sure it combos into c.lk and thus SK.
Yeah I can combo a normal from it great, but I meant finishing it with Scissors Kick…it seems that I never have enough charge.
has anybody tried ex-cancelling like scissor kick into ultra?
Bison has no super armor on his ex scissors. Only Abel and Rog can EX kara cancel.
throw out like 3 cr. shorts after the hit after the headstomp to gain time for the charge. might even be able to throw 4 out… although i doubt it. 3 should gain you the charge.
how often are people using the hard trial 5 combo in actual matches? it’s the j.K, cr.LP->cr.LK->cr.MK->RH-SK ? i’ve been having major problems trying to get the cr.LK to cr.MK to link
That’s because the combo you listed doesn’t link. Hard Trial #5 is jump attack, cr.LK, cr. LP, cr.MK, scissors. I can’t pull that off with any consistency; instead, I do jump attack, cr.LP, s.LP, cr.MK, scissors. Same damage, much easier to do, but it doesn’t really work without the jump-in.
It works if you don’t jump in as well, you just have to make sure that you can start charging before you go in for the c.lp, like when you dash in you can already be holding d/b and then start the c.lp, then move back up to b, lp for the s.lp. It’s just easier when you jump in cuz you know you’re going to get the scissors at the end…
Anyone experimented c.lp, s.lp, c.mp, hk scissors? That’s the most damaging combo off a c.lp starter I’ve found so far (215 dmg) altough the timing is quite strict and it only does a few points more damage than c.lp, s.lp, s.lk, c.mk, hk scissors. I also tried to fit a c.mk in there right before the scissors but it seemed to me that because of pushback it’s not possible. Anyone managed to land that one yet?
it’s better to do cr. forward rather than cr. strong after the st. jab… it’s just so much easier… it’s not worth messing up the combo right before the scissor when cr. jab st jab cr. forward is so hard to mess up. besides… if it’s only doing a little more damage than cr. forward i don’t really see it as worth it. i’m going more for the knockdown and following it up with mind games on wake up.
Does anyone know if you can time bison’s stomp as a crossup?
