Monk abilities that were shown suck balls.
First was just an aura that does something, reduces damage, increases it, I don’t remember. BORING.
2nd was a spell that creates an illusion that fights alongside him. BORRRRING
3rd was a spell that reduces damage for a period of time. BORRRRRRRRING.
Who knows.
blizzard has announced they are close to announcing it…hahah

At this point, I found the easiest thing to do is just forget that it is coming out. It really felt like it was going to come out soon when they started releasing so much info and giving out betas for days.
I never believed Q4 '11. Blizzard never puts games out early to satisfy customer demand. Late Q1 was potentially believable, but they’ll always push games back to fix bugs and smooth things out. They’d previously stated that they would do their best to meet late Q1 but Q2 was more likely.
It’s Blizzard. We know how they work and we know their quality. We had to wait ~12 years for this, I can stand to wait a couple more months.
They did look extremely underwhelming, to the point that you have to question if he did anything at all.
I know I’ve said in the beginning that I’d play the “warrior” class. I’ll probably stick with my guns on this.

Got to play last night for the first time. Monk and watched my friend play a bit of Wiz.
Monk doesn’t look fun on paper, but once you get playing it it makes sense. Monks can own. Of course this is playing at level 6, but still if it holds true through the levels it will be a great class and I’m not sure if I’ve played a class that plays similarly ever before. :tup:

Hellfire monks saw the - I won’t say extremely gay - Elton John-ish D3 armor sets, and said, “Let our brothers in that other temple have a go this time.”
I think many players will start off with DH or Barb as their first class, so Imma stick with the Wiz. Besides I must be the first one to create the Goku build.
