kym0066, yeah bring your friend over. I have actually been doing much better against chun li’s of late. I was fortunate to watch fatboy and john rambo play and pick up a few things. I’m getting there though.
Yeah, reversal teleport. That sucks that its a glitch…
There’s a whole match where Gief corners Sim and all sim does is teleport back into the corner. Now I know why. Ha ha.
hey…haven’t I played you before ktm? back when I was blackman7…I didn’t know you used dhalsim, too…

Thanks, and lulz at the ryu comment. That was a sarcastic joke dude, lol.
Actually we played a lot. I hardly ever saw you online after you changed your name though.
Well yeah, cause I don’t have you on my friend’s list lol. I’m in my last few weeks of this semester, so I’ve been having to buckle down on projects and such, but I’ll send you a friend request.

i was wondering if anyone knew some good ticks with sim. i know you can short slide into someone and throw but to be a truly good tick you have to have more than one good option. what is your other option if they go for the throw? and are there any other good ticks sim has?
In the corner after a knock down, meaty fierce yoga flame can work sometimes. I get hit out of it, but I’ve seen it used on other people.
also, what are some good pressure tactics you guys use? when do you use offensive attacks and put pressure on what characters? and how do you put pressure on them?
Drills in the corner are AWESOME for pressure. Keep doing different drills, land safely, lather rinse and repeat. Once you get pushed to far away, throw out a poke.
I played a dude on Live a few days ago who raped me with standing limbs, ticks, and drills. Mixup forward and rh drills was killer.
It was scary. All I could do was hit a lucky upkick (which wasn’t coming out probably because I wasn’t timing it right).
How the ef do I fight vega/claw??? Am I the only Sim player who has trouble against him? I need some help!
No. All Sim players have difficult times against “very good” vega players. Between perfectly timed izuna splashes, mixing it up between izuna poke/grab and aerial poke, Sim can be a sitting duck. The key at least what I have seen is not to let Vega dictate the match. Stay on him, bait him to use flip kick, and poke him as he is trying to poke you. As long as Vega can get in the air you are in trouble. And the “very good” vegas will pass by you and make the back end of the claw hit you which is tough to hit or even counter with anything.
It’s definitely Sim’s wost matchup next to ChunLi and Cammy. Unfortunately speed kills Sim.
Cammy?
Drills! You gotta pressure Claw with drills. If you’re too obvious about it they can be flip kicked, but drills beat out just about everything else. Jump back rh drill to land in the same spot and bait a flip kick. It’s a tough matchup but if you can get the momentum with drill pressure, you can win. You don’t want to really play this like a normal matchup (for example, don’t fireball much if at all).
Yeah, Probably the most consistently tough matchup for me.
What’s the frame advantage like on his head drill, and foot drill? I know it depends on where he hits you and the angle, but I’m asking about a properly spaced/executed one.
Hey KTM, who’s the “no honor crew”?
I’m part of the “no honor crew” because I tick throw. I have no honor.
Well I suppose that makes me a member too, perhaps we should call it the “Moar Ticks Less Honor Crew”.
Lol
speaking of tough matchups, what do you guys think the cammy, chun li, and vega matchups are? 6-4? 7-3? or if those aren’t his worst matchups what are?
