i guess im just speculating that Rudy will become the new Harry which will be weird imo
looking forward to this, Dexter’s body count will shock Jack Bauer.
good lord, THAT is what they chose to do with such a good twist… not all bad but cleaning it up in 1 ep. at least they addressed the trinity family not turning in Dexter hopefully quinn deb drama is done. i guess if u wanna get deep into it, Jonah was the redemption of sam’s request for forgiveness yadda yadda yadda… but cmon it couldve gone way more dark and twisted. oh well, i guess they wanna push the “light” theme and show dex that there’s still hope.
in that case there’s still time for babysitter poon, and here’s to a real good dex game that copy that the lab dude was playing was cool. masukas protege and chicago super cop are gonna be big time trouble for dex if they ever start to zero in on him. season has officially become even more impossible to touch the elite 3 with that glimmer of hope completely extinguished they better have something written up that makes this ish pale in comparison.
i hope jonah kills baby harrison last ep, that’ll teach him to abandon his bro twice
damn dexter’s lvl3 x-factor ran out. a shame, I would have liked to him in enrage mode for the rest of the season.
soooo…fuuucckkinng…laaame. I think my retina almost detached from rolling my eyes when HARRY IS HITCH HIKING AND DEX PICKS HIM UP. HES A FUCKING APPARITION. Bryan would not shut up either. Did they bring back trinitys son to remind us of the last good season of this show?
They must make up this seasons shitttyness by giving Batistas Sister a really good fuck scene.
I agree with the conclusion part, Dexter needs to get caught by Debra, or whatever, but not a happy ending for him, no tacky unlimited seasons!
Episode had soooo much potential. shame
Definitely looks like the Quinn Deb story has ended, thank you!
Actually liked Harry’s appearance at the end, yes it was cheesy, but they’re just playing off the idea Dexter is on a journey.
I finally caught up on this season. I dunno why, but I’m liking it. Maybe stockpiling episodes makes it easier to forget the stupid stuff. Anyway, even if this season turns out weak, I’m just glad they aren’t doing another “Dexter tries to make a friend who we know he’s eventually going to kill” season.
I like this season after episode 4. I think people need to just let it rock instead of complaining because certain things could be happening to build potential for future episodes.
For example, the new intern could be being built up for a good reason. Going out with Batista’s sister gives him the opportunity to be in Dexter’s condo. His pointed adoration of Dexter and a combination of being left alone for a short while can easily lead to finding something he shouldn’t. The show is also stressing his intelligence, which would complicate things for Dexter if he found his secret.
The latest episode was made to stress how far delusions can go. Bryan eating and stabbing the motel guy with a pitchfork. Harry hitchhiking. These examples show that delusions can act “independently” of the person having them. This fuels the “is he or isn’t he” as to whether James Gellar is real while also ensuring that if he isn’t, it won’t be too far fetched to the viewer. Personally, I’m convinced he’s not real. It just fits too nicely.
Hell, I’m pretty sure this entire season’s theme are delusions. Dexter and Travis are very much alike. Sister who cares for them and a career that enables them to kill. The key difference is in how far they let the delusions drive them. I already mentioned the examples of Dexter from last episode but we also have Travis trying to get away from his Gellar delusion. Then we have how delusions can drive you, both in good (Harry) and bad (Rudy) ways. This isn’t just exemplified in Dexter though. It’s also shown via the other major delusion of the show, religion. Brother Sam being the one driven by the good side of religion, while the bad fuels the Apocalypse Killer. Lastly, the most important delusion was Masuka thinking the blonde intern was actually into him.
The whole season has been on point until the filler last episode, wtf?! I just watched it and that was garbage!
Homeland was wtf too. I’d bang Claire Danes in a heartbeat but for the story to turn around 180 out of nowhere with no hints
Excellent summation of the direction. I was going to write something along these lines but you basically did the job. This episode was very hallucinogenic for a reason, to create some believability when the “unbelievable” starts to occur. They want us to think of Harry as more than just a wandering figment in Dexter’s subconscious, or the actions undertaken by the psychopathic Brian as a innocuous harmless delusion. The writers want a seamless blend, but for what purpose?
I think they are trying to set up multiple villains this season by showing how we all use different masks. Honestly mIRC, I think-

Might seem like a godsend to the department because he’s the devil himself. His lighthearted an seemingly harmless interest in Dexter could stem from deeper kindred obsession, that might unravel once Travis’s arc is over.
“In matters of the heart, always think with your dick.” :china:
idk how I feel about this twist.
I know how I feel: cheated. This sounds like bullshit to me. This could be the worst shit since the twist at the end of Fight Club, which ruined the entire movie for me.
I don’t know, I like the plot twist…definitely unexpected and I can see where they are going with this (in terms of dark passengers and seeing hallucinations). I like it.
Edit: k it all makes sense now…
Is it wrong that I sprouted some wood during the sex scene? Just the thought of seeing that girl naked gets me all hot and bothered. I know we didn’t see tits or even her face, but still … that girl is bad, man.
Unbelievable

What the hell kinda WiFi has that kind of range without any signal booster?
Also, Batista’s sister is…
Spoiler
…the least attractive looking non-fat hispanic woman in her 20s in Miami. It’s realistic I guess since she’s dating a nerd.
We all saw this coming didn’t we?
:u:
Atleast Sheng-Long saw it coming before everyone else lol
After seeing the ‘twist’ in Walking Dead (which was just as predictable) this was poorly executed. It was just way to obvious in the way everything played out.
lol I really liked the scene of Dexter’s son handing out the cookies to all the other toddlers.
That’s my one
Well…I was rooting against this “twist” the whole time, if only because
show

We’re supposed to believe Travis not only killed his sister, but also had kept chaining himself up? Made all those elaborate sets by himself?
I will give this season credit for one thing: The non-Dexter storylines are more interesting to me then in previous years.
