That ending was awesome. That entire scene did so much for this entire season and overall series. Good stuff.
Wow, superb episode, this season just picked up bigtime. Never thought we’d see that guy again and another old story will be revisited. I can’t wait til next week now
Yea that last scene was very redeeming if the whole season. It ranks up there with trinity walking through Miami metro & introducing himself to Dexter or the bay harbor butcher being introduced to the media or even walking into the bloody room Rudy set up etc. Gotta hand it to the writers they can really turn it on at will. Just wish quinn would grow a pair or die he’s the low point if the show he even kills the comic relief that they try to give his character.They’re also overdoing debs personal conflict with being the boss hopefully she turns lesbo for the psych Dr.
I dont spoil it by watching the previews but I can only imagine where this goes they basically don’t even need doomsday at this point just Dex struggling with his darkness us good enough, here’s hoping Harrison dies so it pushes Dex off the edge and unravels a shit storm.

Cmon… really? Why did Harry get soft on him in the first place? He had no relationship with Rudy other than the chase.

I agree, the drama between other characters that the writers try to throw into the mix isn’t all that interesting. I was enjoying Quinn squirm but they are still dedicating too much time on him, he is so unlikeable now.

Yea, I really didn’t like the development in the last episode. I was glad he beat down “Uncle Mike” though. I really can’t stand that guy. No way dude would’ve even been in my house. It’s one thing for the wife to think her husband was dead and move on, but Mike crossed the line. Then to make things worse he’s still coming on to her. Like really?
I just needed to get that outta my system.
As for the CIA chick - that just makes no sense. Are they gonna use the bi-polar thing as an excuse for her to do random stuff?
DeXters dad was never the dark passenger if anything he was just dex’ logical careful side. Ruddy there to show that Dex is getting fucked up in the head not cuz he’s a badass. It’s stressed cuz he says I’m at the crossroads when he chooses to let that dude know that Sam forgives him. Dexters dark side us his own blood lust and love for vengeance these people he sees us just how he copes with shit Harry was the balance and the balance has been fucked since he chose to drown that dude (forgot his name). And agreed anything non dextr doomsday or funny needs to be cut just like quinns sack. Current wishlist: hope bautistas sister breast feeds Harrison with all that hovering over him,and she can breast feed deb too cure the deb drama and quinn commits suicide or at least just stfu and blaze with masuka something entertaining.
Batistas sister doesnt really have any tits that would produce a fulfilling meal but shes pretty cut i must say.
I just thought the image of Rudy was unnecessary because its obvious dexter lost it but i can see how it would be found to be effective. It just doesnt make sense because Dexter didnt really know Rudy that well aside from the “Dark Passenger”. Itd be great to see Dexter just SNAP and not even be able to cover it up anymore.
The way I see it’s less about knowing Rudy/ Brian personally and instead using him as a symbol- the embodiment of one who totally accepts the Satsui n… er… Dark Passenger. Rudy Cooper had nothing holding him back, so this is fairly unknown (and scary) terrirtory Dexter is stepping into.
The transformation is at least logical. I don’t think there’s any way Dexter could’ve stopped himself from killing that asshat. Definitely unworthy of forgiveness with his complete lack of remorse, and the rage Dexter showed was pretty visceral: the quivering lips, the clenched teeth, and the spittle flying inbetween the beastly grunts. (Michael C. Hall was probably channeling some of his inner demons in that scene).
Are you guys kidding me? That episode was great. Well, the ending at least. It redeemed what had been a pretty mediocre season thus far. At least for me it did, anyway.
