I knew he couldn’t walk the pacifist path for long. The BHB is back to kill some more. And Jimmy Smits to replace Doakes is not the worst they could have done. But Doakes was broken and it will be weird to watch the show without him in it. So Season 3 starts September 28th. Hopefully it will premiere On Demand before that.
so, i’m completely in love with this show. i picked up s1 a few months back and have been waiting desperately for season two to come to dvd (comes in aug i believe). i don’t want to read anything in this thread cuz i don’t wanna ruin anything about s2 for myself. all i have to say is that between this, weeds and californication, showtime is killing hbo with quality programming…
too bad i don’t get any of them and have to wait for dvd releases…
Season 2 was nowhere near as good as season 1. I like that they took the series in a new direction. But eh, It was ok.

I just finished season 2 this week. I’m a real big fan of it. This show is really goddamn tense. And I like how it doesn’t pull away. It seems to beeline for all the stuff lots of shows never touch – the uncomfortable and the morally gray alike – and it does it without being preachy or condescending.
I’m itching to start season 3, but I always wait until the entire season has aired so I can junkie the shit out and watch 12 episodes in 3 days.
