I concur fully. Wow I can’t remember the last time (well actually prison break) where a show could pull me in like this and have me awaiting in suspense and fear. Is it me or is it @ times you get that feeling where you are Dexter (like you place yourself in his shoes) and all that is going around you and you feel the enormous pressure pounding down on you (its actually exciting @ the same time). Yeah maybe its just me, lol. And I would like to thank the nice ppl of this thread for the mentioning of the Episodes Leakage, had it not been for you all I would have surely waited a extremely long 2 weeks.
Wow. I’m not even through the last ep yet, but they can’t top themselves with this season. You know more are on the way.
This season right here seemed like some final season stuff. The way most series would go out.
Thankyou SRK/Piratebay. I saw this thread yesterday and I’am very thankful I did, the week wait in between ep. was killing me. This is the only show besides Sopranos that I really got into, Always leaving me wanting more. Anyone know when season 3 is scheduled for release? Sept/08?

I think I know what it is already, and I agree. Dex should have taken his sweet time with that.
Yeah I feel the same way, Prisonbreak gives me the same feeling but because it is on Primetime the graphic quality is lost (as well as commercials).

All in all a perfect season, I don’t think I’ve ever said that about any show yet. The ridiculous part is that last season was already too good. Damn this show is like crack and heroin wrapped in a visual form.

Yeah, Doakes overstepped his bounds, but death ain’t the right price to pay. Lila’s death should have taken longer, but i’m just glad she died.

Just finished watching the S2 finale and was not disappointed, it’s a shame Doakes had to go out like that, but I guess it was either him or Dex with the corner he painted himself into.
Even though he was an asshole to Dexter, he was a great character and I cracked up every time he dropped the F-bomb, especially when he caught Dexter at the shipping crate at the end of S1 “Surprise mother-fucker!” 
I hope they’re able to keep up the tight writing for season 3 (if there is one) and keep it separate from book 3, I’ve heard some very bad things about it.
Yeah the show keeps 1upping itself each season, at this rate the show will collapse on itself from the awesomeness by season 5.:looney:
If it can keep it’s awesomeness. This second season felt like a final season. Forget “how can they top themselves.” The real question is "what can they even do?"
The “Dex gets caught” storyline is the limit. It was the farthest they could go with the series.

Possibilites:
-Dexter has a change of ethics (again).
-Dexter tries to pass the code onto someone else, but that person is too sadistic, and Dexter has to stop them. (Kinda like The Hunted, with Tommy Lee Jones and Benicio Del Toro).
-Someone (anyone) finds out about what he has done, and contract him to do work for them, and then he uncovers a conspiracy.
If anyone uses these ideas of mine, I wanna “GET PAID!”.
It’ll be interesting to see how season 3 plays out. With Lila and Doakes out the picture and Doakes taking the heat for Dexter’s murders, Dexter has a lot more freedom in what he can do. He could end up being more brutal or get careless.
It will be odd see the show without the Dexter vs Doakes dynamic, but there is only so long that could have dragged out.
Just finsihed watching season 2. Easily my favorite show at the moment.

I can’t wait to see where they go from here. I think if they end it here it will be a perfect series. He already found out he had a brother, his father’s principals aren’t all he revered it to be, his graveyard was discovered…I think the only thing they can do in season 3 is have Maria become suspicious of Dexter.
Another would-be problem in season 3 is Dexter’s killing/disposal methods - he’d have to find a new method, otherwise police would link the killings back to the BHB and the chase would be on again. But then again, I guess he found a stream in the ocean to dispose the bodies that were untraceable right?

Anyone saw Dexter being advertised on either CBS/ABC? Man, they gonna butcher the show so much. Dexter has plenty of blood, violence, cursing, nudy scenes, etc. I think I’ll watch it just to see how dumbed down it will be.
