A few episodes ago I had a theory that I kind of dropped, but now I am going back to.
Boyds self help group “Take It!” is behind this little rape ring. Or at least that group is how his rapist buddies got connected. All roads lead to this.
The story seems far fetched, but a couple of years ago in Japan there was a secret college “rape club” at a VERY prestigous university in Tokyo. The kind of shit Lumen has gone through could and probably does happen in front of our noses.
I am surprised how much I am enjoying Dexter seeing how this season is what I would call a slow burn after the fireworks of last season. Kind of how I wasn’t feeling season 3 until like halfway through where that shit just got me.

maybe its just me, but the latest episode was pretty awful… this show is mostly a joke now, i just cant watch this show and really think “ooh im watching a good, well written/acted show now – like the first 2 seasons”… julie stiles cant act for shit, i really felt like punching someone after watching the latest ep.
I’d agree with what Calibur said about the season being slow, but as for saying it’s a joke makes no sense to me at all. I have no issues here with Stiles’ acting, the only neg I have is the twisted humour is abit hit and miss.
I guess it just doesnt cut it anymore for me. I dont mind a slow season and what not, there are just a lot of things thats just not good enough imo. I cant help but feel like the writers are doing a half assed job with the plot/subplot and it seems like the acting is getting more and more cringe worthy as the season goes. I guess its my fault for having expectation for this show to be at least at a certain level. Sure obviously there are going to be people who dont share the same opinion as me, and obviously people have different tastes, so what might not make sense to you might make perfect sense to me. Im not sayin this to force my opinion on anyone, just letting out my frustration on what was once a really good show.
