Damn this episode was intense, a whole bunch of Murphy’s Law happening all at once.
So Dex finally accepted his muse, the road to find all these men Kill Bill style will be interesting, but it can’t end well.
Latina Cop with her 80s poofy hair was cute, not my flavor but cute.
Masuka’s gesticulations and graphic knowledge of “auto-erotic mummification” had me speechless with inner laughter.
BTW, just in case you guys didn’t notice, much of the dialogue between Dexter and Lumen in the bathroom was just one long scene. Impressive acting chops by those two.

This season so far to me has a lot of suspense.
Like when Lumen escaped and almost got in the car, and then now this moment when the predator who killed the gay men also escaped.
Both caused by Dexter’s sloppiness.
The only thing I didn’t like in the episode was when Lumen’s abuser got on the phone and started talking shit “The bitch has escaped” and stuff like that. So with people in the next room that might kill you, the first thing you do is call your rapist buddies instead of the police? Not only giving credence to her story, but also giving Dexter the green light. Thought that was pretty weird
That point makes me think the story is much bigger than what we know now. There must be a reason why he didn’t want to call the police.

Also Dex wasn’t sloppy because Lumen returned. What should he have done? Hold her hand all the way through the terminal and wait until the plane was airborne?
I thought the same thing, but when I thought about it: he knew he was dying and if this happened to him, it could happen to his buddies as well. Also, what’s he gonna tell the police? This girl I raped is back to kill me?
If you don’t buy that, the trade-off was seeing Dexter go Mortal Kombat on his ass.
Anyone else worried about the nozzle that Vince pointed out? Something tells me it’s gonna get traced back to Lumen or Dexter.
