Cammy’s max damage combo vs standing chun without meter : cl hp > far lp > cr lk > spiral hk > canon spike (does more damage than cl mp > cr hp > cr mk > spiral mk)
303dmg/476 stun vs 296dmg/485stun
can someone aware me to what the key to this combo is? I’ve tried it 100s of times in training mode now, and I just can’t get the spike to hit consistently. (like 1 out of 40ish)
never mind, just found out. Switched to MK spike from HK, hits every time now. weird
never mind the never mind, unfound out how to do it, must have been lucky that I got them in a row. is there just a very tight timing for the spike?
Sorry if this was asked already, but how the hell do you land a st cannon spike after the sako (or any combo that ends in one hit off of the SA for that matter) combo?
On crouching Ken/Ryu you can do crossup lk, cl. lk, cl. lk, far lp > cr. mp xx HK SA lol. You can use crouching lights too, but then it can only combo into mk sa. Man I can’t wait til I get some normal link combos out of lights.
Any one know of good setups to do safe meaty spiral arrows on wakeup? I figure it’d be useful to know for people that like backdashing a lot - plus being able to get a CSpike (or super?) juggle on hit.
Safe meaty spiral arrows won’t hit backdashes due to backdashes being invincible on startup. If the arrow does hit a backdash, then it wasn’t safe to begin with.
That being said, you’re left in a good position to OS punish the backdash with a normal. Something like cr.mp or cr.mk xx hk arrow should work fine.
cr.lk, cr.lk, far st.lk, cr.mp xx MK arrow … easy combo for 192 dmg
works on: abel, dudley, fei long, gen, gouken, hakan, sagat, zangief
and if you care enough…
works on standing only: adon, bison, blanka, chun, dan, fuerte, guile, guy, honda, rose, vega
works on crouching only: balrog, thawk
on balrog use hk arrow 2 hits. honestly its impractical and space dependent.
for example if you crossup balrog (crouch) the combo wont connect. (try it? as far as i remember it doesnt connect).
to land this combo it has to be proceeded by either jump in attack or low strike (or EX). (you can get more damage using other combos for maximum damage)
