On a side note, this was my first time using iMovie so I may have gotten a little edit happy.

Cammy’s max damage combo vs standing chun without meter : cl hp > far lp > cr lk > spiral hk > canon spike (does more damage than cl mp > cr hp > cr mk > spiral mk)
303dmg/476 stun vs 296dmg/485stun

sounds similar to c.lp, stand mp, far lp, c.lk, hksa, spike. i saw Olympian video doing it. and sako against Haneyama NSB Finals round.

alioune is it possible to start with c.lp first like the combo i mentioned.??

i can use it then after FA crumble i guess. :amazed:

I tried the combo out, and I was wondering if the hk arrow is supposed to hit twice.

I know xup lk, cr. lp, close st. mp, far st. lp, cr. lk xx hk arrow, hk spike, the arrow hits once.

no it hits twice. in aliounes combo and sakos.

can someone aware me to what the key to this combo is? I’ve tried it 100s of times in training mode now, and I just can’t get the spike to hit consistently. (like 1 out of 40ish)

never mind, just found out. Switched to MK spike from HK, hits every time now. weird

never mind the never mind, unfound out how to do it, must have been lucky that I got them in a row. is there just a very tight timing for the spike?

Sorry if this was asked already, but how the hell do you land a st cannon spike after the sako (or any combo that ends in one hit off of the SA for that matter) combo?

You have to use LK SA.

so far is character specific unless some discover otherwise and only corner for some characters.

Balrog: tkcs, chp, c.mp, lk arrow, hk spike
Honda: tkcs, close mp, c.hp, c.mk, lk arrow, hk spike
Chun Li can be done at corner or mid screen :wow:

  1. tkcs or crossup lk, c.lp, close mp, far lp, c.lk, hk sa, hk spike
  2. tkcs, close hp, far lp, c.lk, hk sa, spike

On crouching Ken/Ryu you can do crossup lk, cl. lk, cl. lk, far lp > cr. mp xx HK SA lol. You can use crouching lights too, but then it can only combo into mk sa. Man I can’t wait til I get some normal link combos out of lights.

Does anyone know any combos that follow up after two close standing mp on counter hit?

follow with c.mk, hk sa i assume.

so its cl.mp, cl.mp, c.mk, hk sa.

since this is a combo that works on crouching vega and elf.

Does it work with Ryu? It seems easier to do on Vega and Elf than on Ryu.

Any one know of good setups to do safe meaty spiral arrows on wakeup? I figure it’d be useful to know for people that like backdashing a lot - plus being able to get a CSpike (or super?) juggle on hit.

Safe meaty spiral arrows won’t hit backdashes due to backdashes being invincible on startup. If the arrow does hit a backdash, then it wasn’t safe to begin with.

That being said, you’re left in a good position to OS punish the backdash with a normal. Something like cr.mp or cr.mk xx hk arrow should work fine.

ok i will mention the standard meaty arrow setups.

  1. forward throw, mk arrow
  2. spin knuckle knockdown, dash forward, arrow
  3. cannon spike ground hit. HK/MK arrow.

for last point, hk arrow hits meaty on some characters like Ryu, Ken, Bison …etc then you can follow with cannon spike.

on others mk arrow hits meaty and safe on block. :confused:

this is not an answer to backdash. true answer is

meaty Strike/Normal OS Arrow/Sweep/Normal/Ultra :cool:

cr.lk, cr.lk, far st.lk, cr.mp xx MK arrow … easy combo for 192 dmg

works on: abel, dudley, fei long, gen, gouken, hakan, sagat, zangief

and if you care enough…
works on standing only: adon, bison, blanka, chun, dan, fuerte, guile, guy, honda, rose, vega
works on crouching only: balrog, thawk

on balrog use hk arrow 2 hits. honestly its impractical and space dependent.

for example if you crossup balrog (crouch) the combo wont connect. (try it? as far as i remember it doesnt connect).

to land this combo it has to be proceeded by either jump in attack or low strike (or EX). (you can get more damage using other combos for maximum damage)
