Just saw a video that looked like jmp worked as a crossup. Does that work?

Yes. Jump Fierce also crosses up on some characters.

I know fierce can cross up on: Rufus, Chun Li, Balrog, Sagat, Honda, T. Hawk, Vega, Dudley

Sadly, I’ve found that the less I use hooligan, the more I win. It seems to be a move that’s never better than a 6/4 risk/reward ratio, unless the opponent’s matchup knowledge is weak. I think there’s a reason we almost never see Sako use the move.

I love Hooligan against Abel and Gief. Grabbing Abel out of his annoying tatsuesque move rewards you with the air grab animation and enough time to taunt. What more could you ask for ?

I wish you could dive out of the low/med versions though.

Blanka too. And the set-up for it is almost universal for each (back throw, LK TKCS, jump u/f, j.hp [cross up]).

But anyone know which characters require different spacing/timing [off the back throw]? I know Chun and 'Rog for sure…

with balrog, use MK TKCS ( LK TKCS can be used if he’s in the corner i’ve found), chun use crouch mp, honda use stand mk. These all work off back throw/hooligan.

Oh, and the timing seems a lot tighter on Blanka.

Related to this, I noticed yesterday while practicing frametraps that:

cannon strike, cr.LK, cr.LP, s.LP, cr.MP xx hk arrow

is a combo against crouching Balrog. It’s pretty easy too, the s.LP seems to be automatically meaty.

Since you start with a TKCS, you might as well go into a better combo instead if it hits, but it seems like a decent string to follow a blocked high-hitting strike. The cr.MP trades or counterhits jabs, and counterhit is in range for cr.MK xx arrow.

I assume this isn’t the only setup for that string, anything that gets you closer than normal should work, or something else that gets you to the right spacing for s.LP, cr.MP.

If Sako ever returns to the states for a major, everyone should chant that when he does that combo.

Sadly, who knows if he’ll even bother with Cammy in the future… the near future even seeing AE is about to see light in Japan.

I don’t know if anyone has done this combo, but you can combo cr.hp, cr.hp, Super. Or better yet j.hp/hk, cr.hp, cr.hp, Super.
It’s pretty hard to get the timing down, even with counter hit. Getting the two cr.hp’s to combo isn’t to hard, but timing the Super is what made it a little hard. I don’t have any video proof, but I assure everyone that this combo does work.

*I found out that you’ll have to activate super before the character reels back up from the cr.hp.

You can do jumpin/divekick, close mp, cr. fierce x2, super on some characters

This helped out a lot on me trying things with cammy in the future.

Mos def…Thats my “Im bout to win my 2nd round and got full Super” combo. I negative edge the Super (piano all 3 kicks, 3rd Strike style). Just be careful, bc of SF4’s bullshit leniency Ive gotten Ultra instead a few times.

Yeah I like the j fierce cr fierce cr fierce super on stunned opponents during second round. I’m still trying to hit the counterhit cr fierce cr fierce ultra during a match though. I’ll hit the counterhit and then like 10 seconds later realize I should’ve done it.

I saw Marlin Pie do that this last weekend against LI Joe (without the Super) on the NEC Stream and I was like, “WOA.” I actually didn’t know about that Combo. Do we know who it works on and who it doesn’t?

While we’re at it, do we also have a list anywhere of who is forced to block the very last hit of the Ultra while Crouching and who goes under it?

I’ve done cs. Mp cr. Fp fs. Fp(far standing) which looks cool. Haha

Isn’t that basically one of the challenges?
But yeah, I do that vs Abel sometimes since I find cr.Fp followed by anything other than c.mk to be incredibly hard. It looks cool and kind of surprises them that a combo doesn’t end with arrow. s.rh is a decent followup after that, too.

May I make a request, please? Being that Capcom changed the framedata for a lot of her normal, thus changing the available combos, could you please make another thread for AE’s combos?
The reason I am asking this is that I am still playing Vanilla, being that I have only the computer, and I need this combo list for training (being that I am still learning this character).
