Definitive Retail Playstation 4 Arcade Sticks List with Info/Facts/Photos/Advantages/Disadvantages

Paypals conversion is always off, it’s pretty annoying.

It is always conveniently/suspiciously off.

Hey guys so i just picked up a TE2 Case for the Xbox One which should be the same as the PS versions with the exception of the PCB. @FrankCastleAZ asked me to see if i can tackle some of the unanswered questions so here’s what I found out about the USB ProCable space. I’ll be modding this stick in the next couple of days (just waiting for parts) so feel free to ask any other questions about the case. I’ll gladly try my best to answer them. Hope this helps!

The workable space is:
2" wide x 0.8125" high

Which is not much space at all for a standard Neutrik A/B USB adapter to clear without some modifications to either the case or the Neutrik adapter itself. Inside the case also poses a problem to drill another 24mm hole in the back since all the available spaces are covered by either the hinges or the ProCable Assembly. I will try to remove the plastic plate over the ProCable assembly when I start modding and update this post. See pics for reference.

I’m guessing the site is messed up or something because it says the stick with shipping costs 29000 yen and that converted to us dollars is like $4,000.

2,9000 yen to usd is like $240…

Hmm, I just went to like 5 currency converters online and they all have the same numbers.

gocurrency.com/v2/dorate.php?inV=29000&from=CNY&to=USD&Calculate=Convert

@Tensho is correct. $238. These are JApanese Yen and you’re converting Chinese Yuan.

Oh shit. Thanks for that.

Yeah, if you take the Japanese “Yen symbol” and put it into google and such it defaults to the Chinese Yuan. Gotta specify Japanese Yen for all y’all peeps out there in the future.

Yep, that is exactly what happened to me. Thanks again.

Oh but just a heads up @BehindTheLight . paypal’s convertion rate is around 118yen per dollar, coming closer to $245 USD. They claim their rates are up to date and accurate but they never are. This is their way of making more money.

Rates change rapidly, sometimes hourly, sometimes even more often (depending on international trade).

Paypal uses a daily value just like most banks, with the amount rounded up to their favor so they aren’t taking loses (just like every bank and currency exchange you will go to).

So they say. I’m not the only one reporting this, I have read posts and articles on it. They claim it’s up to date but it’s always off on their favor. Trust me, I understand all that, I used to also believe that but I’ve done my research. I’m not just pulling things out of my you know what Hahaha. It’s a business like any other but with them it’s always a lot off.

So you are accusing them of making money as a business?
I though that was the whole point of a business, to make money.

So what your losing a bit on the exchange rate, you are paying for the convenience.
its ether let paypal take a extra few percent or dealing with overseas bank transfers.

And by the way. I was just giving the guy a heads up. Just letting him know that it’s going to be more expensive through PayPal than whatever he’s getting through Google. I wanted to find this out myself so everyday for the last 5 Days have gone through the checkout process for one of these sticks and compare PayPal’s rate with other converters and every single has come up around $7 more expensive. That’s not an opinion, I went through steps to verify it for myself after reading about it. So I believe my heads up is appropriate.

. You obviously missed the point. I never said it wasn’t worth it.

I know it’s a business and how businesses work. I was giving the guy a head up. Letting him know that he’s going to be paying about $7 more for his stick than what he’s getting through Google and then I went on explaining why. Him having to pay more money is a fact, not an opinion. So then what’s the problem?

Overseas shipping is much, much more ($50+) than the diffidently less than $7 for a transaction fee, especially when its converting US dollars to Japanese Yen.

No one is arguing that. Is that what you understood from my post? Really?

Like I said, I was letting him know that he will be paying $9 more than what he expects ( I just double checked , it’s $9). Everything else is besides the point. No one said it wasn’t worth it and no one said whether I think $9 is a lot or not. You are just assuming things. I was just giving him a heads up , and I’m not even going to try to think that I know whether that’s a big deal for him or not. I’m just giving him the Information.

I don’t know where you started thinking that I was saying that it wasn’t worth it. I just double read everything and I said no such thing. I was just letting him know how things work , for his consideration.

@darksakul and @poisonmar - I appreciate the bump(s) on this thread, but stop rubbing each other the wrong way. :frowning:
Plus you’re both off topic.
