me too. i wonder if his up legs will still be able to combo to ultra as well… the EX doesnt look like it does though so im not sure
EX dreads into ultra is a solid way to combo into ultra, we dont need more 
Everyone should be happy about how safe DeeJay’s ultra is on Block.
It also didnt use to be a mash move
something tells me that in between some of the hits the opponent can shoryuken or counter ultra or something. just because it ends on a projectile doesnt mean its very safe.
Projectile? That last hit of the ultra is an uppercut not a maxout.
Im just saying that the last hit of the ultra pushed the opponent across most of the screen. I’d be surprised if anything could get to him besides kara Tiger knee.

You can probably hit him before the las hit or something, like with Balrog.
Maybe Honda and Blanka could hit him with their headbutt/blanka ball. Or Bison with his slide or knee press.
Any move that moves the character forward very quickly might work.

it could be an uppercut infused with “max out power” ^^
its not a max out as in it travels across the screen but it goes out far enough and hits them back far enough that that hit of the ultra is safe.
