I did. Anyone running their mouth in here who doesn’t get up off their lazy ass to go vote is just trolling this thread imo.
“I was there when 9-” Standing ovation
Anyone else find it funny that the news continues to discount Ron Paul over Fred Thompson and Rudy Giuliani even though he beat Giuliani in Iowa, Thompson in NH, and both of them in Michigan.
More like, “Ni–” standing ovation
lmao
Not really. It is of course the “news”. Their job is to distort reality, propogate nonsense while making us feel informed about the issues :bluu:
The establishment doesn’t want Ron Paul to win. So stuff like this is going to happen.
Um, for any remaining supporters of Ron Paul:

and http://bidinotto.journalspace.com/?entryid=656 for good measure.
Uhh if you thought that was going to make everyone go “oh my god he must be crazy!” You’re wrong. I mean the article just takes his positions on state’s rights/abortion and blows them out of proportion. It also repeats the racism allegations which is ridiculous to anyone. This guy also seems to think US foreign policy is great so that immediately lowers the value of his opinion, just read his article on non-interventionism and how he plays up the threat of Iran.
Yes, because everyone goes out and campaigns in every single state. You can not come to that conclusion until you finally hit the major states. If Guilliani does not take FL, then you may have a shot at that but other than that, 3 states down 47 to go.
If its not Guilliani or Fred running for the republicans, maybe even Romney, I may just cast my vote for the democratic side.
I have to ask, what is it about Giuliani’s policies that you like?
Rudy’s only saving grace is surprisingly Ron Paul. After the 9/11 mayor hype nobody really payed Guillani any attention. The he constantly gets in these arguments with Ron Paul and the sound bites are all over the place. And we all know sound bites is all most of us really pay attention to. Even I can’t watch the debates in full. Especially when they start asking rhetorical questions. Example
Goler: Theres talk of an attack by foreign enemies on U.S. soil. You have a known terrorist connected to the attack in custody. What would you?
Rudy: Well first thing we would do is get some information. Next thing look at the situation. Then we would have to do some random stuff at the Pentagon and White House. Then beat the hell out of the terrorist guy and hope that gets us somewhere.
Crowd: applauses
Goler: What do you say however to experts who say that torture doesn’t produce results?
Rudy: I was the mayor of New York City when 9/11 happen.
Crowd: applauses
no…
Hillary trying to claim she is more experienced than Obama is bull. He has been an elected official since '97 when he started his first term as a State Senator in Illinois. 8 years as State Senator, and 3 years since he started his term as a US Senator. She has been in office in '01. She keeps trying to claim Bill’s 8 years as experience as her own. She was First Lady, not an official with powers of her own. Fuck her. She may have been more involved than most First Ladies, but I don’t see how that counts as “experience”.
Proof you can’t turn a ho into a White House wife…or something…:looney:
The changing of welfare centers to real job centers.
The cutting back on business taxes and taxes period.
His wanting to look into alternative energy resources.
The keep war as an option but only if talks fail.
His wanting to get good students out of bad schools.
Cut spending.
These are just a few things but i can expand on them if you like. In a dream world, I would have had him being president with Richardson being VP, but that will never work.
Alternative energy… Rudy… no
Cut spending. I wouldn’t take someone who aggressively supports a war that cost $275 million per day serious when they say they will cut spending. :bluu:
Keep war as an option…
Cutting spending is not always with wars, There are many things out there that can be cut.
Just cause you say no, thats it on alternative energy? You do know Giuliani believes in innovation and conservatism.
That video does not prove anything on what i just posted on war as a second option. The problem with that video is that it shouldnt even be titled Giuliani vs Paul. Paul was right in speaking what he was speaking and fucken fox news had to end the question. Giuliani response to paul really showed he was not listening to what Paul was saying. sadly not too many people do as you can tell by the applause of the audience. Read deeper into what Giuliani stands for and you’ll see he would keep war as the second option.
I hear ya bro. But after reading a little piece on how all of his terrorism experience was basicly all lies I find anything he says (and any politician) under suspect.
The alternative energy thing I would have said no for just about any of the candidates actually. Sure people are going to support things like hybrid cars but thats not a real solution to the problem.
Thats why i would want him as president and Thompson, Paul, or Richardson as VP. I know he plays out the whole 9/11 thing too much, but with one of those other guys to back him, he would be my perfect candidate, or almost.
The alternative energy is just not cars, what i want to see this country go into is more nuclear solutions.
oh… Right haha. I new I was getting something confused. Huckabee is still a loopey loo though.
Thats one of the reasons I would not want someone like Rudy to be president. Because he’s a man who who supports the United States going towards Nuclear Energy, but would threaten to bomb and invade a country that is daring even to dream to use Nuclear Power(Iran).
He’s way too hawkish - and war should not even be a second option, it should NOT be an option unless the United States national security is actually threatened(Such as when Japan and Germany declared war on the US).
The rest of his policies could be great but as long as he keeps on with that “These arabs are dangerous and only I can protect you” thing going on, it seems almost guaranteed for him to throw us into yet another conflict.
