You have to remember, Light didn’t really mess up, it was Mikami…The only “screw up” was that Light trusted that Mikami would not screw up.

- Some things were quite well sped up. As in, things that took ages to finish in the manga were breezed through in the anime. I think they cut some things too, but I’m not too sure on the specifics already.

- Not really. You know it’s super gifted, you know it’s used to breed the next L…you know there’s a lot of kids (I presume 26, one for each letter).

- Early on, you get the info that there’re 3 great detectives in the world, L, some other fellow who’s not quite as good as L, and someone equal to L who’s a money grubbing bastard (can’t remember their names, sorry). Then, later on, you get info that L is actually, in fact, all three of them, under different aliases. Thus, money grubber would fund L for his food,the hotel, etc.
-Why did the girl demon kill L’s butler?
- Because in order to save Misa, L and his most trusted person (Watari, the butler) needed to die, so that no info would spread out concerning the Death Note, Light, Misa, etc.
-What did the butler erase before he died?
- All the info that they (as in, L and gang) had there in Japan. Presumably there was a backup the 1337 orphanage, as the next arc starts with Near having a lot of info already.
-Did Light disable the bugs in the hotel he was talking to his second g/f? One of the excops said something like"No bugs?"
- I don’t remember this scene properly, but I think he made up a story where he was under scrutiny by Kira himself, and so there was even a fake checkup or something, so Light conveniently managed to debug everything.

- There were, just disabled, apparently.

I can’t remember them tho. I know Mello’s was given during the part where someone dies. Near’s I’m not sure if it was ever mentioned, but I assume it was written on the notebook at the climax.

This anime wasn’t bad at all, I really liked it alot, especially the animation, very well draw in my opinion. Storyline was very, very good, but the Death Note Special is 3 hrs long?! :amazed:
