It was mid screen. It was FK throw [opponent on back]. I think it was a screen bounce and not a character bounce…just very slight.

I’ll go home and try and re create and I’ll give all the specific details.

From the top of my head, I know I dashed the instant magneto could move again and I ended up behind the opponent.

OK I can do it consistantly now.

-It cant be done in the corner.
-Magneto has to be standing midscreen during the throw. [screen shift]
-If Mags throws from one side of the screen to another, it wont work. [No screen shift]
-So far I’ve only gotten it work on Cable sized chracters and smaller.

FK throw. As soon as magneto says “Huh!” and tosses them, dash forward and magneto will dash pass the grounded body.

On a serious note: Does this really have any use at all?

i think you can juggle them with a st short or low short

i remember shadyk telling me about that shit a loooooong time ago

before they hit the ground? That sounds crazy midscreen. near corner I can see it…

Abusable?

I’ve been messing around with magneto and I came up with this:

[midscreen] launch, sj.fp xx ad/df fp, fk[otg], s.lk, c.mp…[screen shift]

Its the startup of mag’s 5/6 fierce combo, the s.lk hits and causes the auto-roll, the c.mp bubble thingie comes out during the screen shift and will connect with the opponent while mags auto-dashes in. some follow-ups:

-opponent low blocks the bubble = you get a free sj. overhead
-opponent high blocks the bubble = is it even possible to highblock the bubble? I have to test this. I think you might get a free c.lk, c.lk…
-opponent blocks the bubble = jump, dash forward + psy…

random-ish:

launch, call sent proj, sj.fk XX ad forward sj.fk [flying screen], sent hits [otg], land, c.fk XX sj.lk, lk, ad df lk, lk, land > fun stuff of your choice.

i’m pretty sure it works midscreen, not positive though

i tried it midscreen but could only get the s.lk to hit. but it definitely works. it looks like it shouldnt hit, but it actually juggles. you can do the s.lk considerably early (as it seems) and it still connects. you can’t be directly in the middle of the screen though, you have to be leaning towards a side.

yea i tried it on cable and could do it about 1/3 times so anyone heavier its probably not going to work at all

Can you not super jump cancel after an air dash in a combo? Example, c.lk, c.hp, j.hp, ad/df j.hp, c.lk, c.hk, sjc…

You sure cant. You might as well just five fierce and mixup from there.

that has nothing to do with airdashing though, you can’t superjump/special/super cancel after flying screen is caused

So what is it about this combo that allows me to launch twice?

Is there a point in an OTG when they roll which is unrolable? Psy ROM set-up works in training with roll on, just want to make sure that’s right… Or wrong…

yea, thats when its called a “juggle” any time a person is about to fall on their back like that you can time it so they land on your attack, kind of making it a little more realistic

so how exactly does that air dash through shockwave work? I’ve accidentaly done it once (with storm), then tried a second time (with mag) and it worked. I also was flying with sent and it should have hit me (im guessing, the beginning was right where I was) but I flew to the other side, behind mags, unscathed.

I believe I had assists out every time, but unsure.

mag does shockwave about 3 columns out, you call your assist, jump and airdash/fly/anything that moves forward through it when your assist gets hit

It’s not a juggle though is it? It’s still an OTG taking up that one per combo?

mag’s is always a juggle… slide infinite wouldn’t work without it
