Picked up Tiny Titans #3-4. Stuff is good.
Picked up Justice League of America this week.
Pretty good issue. Whole issue felt very “Bendis”-like. Especially the whole conversation between Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman at the very start.
I noticed that the Waldenbooks Store here has some versions of DC’s comics that seem dark and mysterious. Kinda like how Mace Wandu (Star Wars) is as close to the dark side of the force as one can get without actually being on the dark side.
The actual titles escape me, but I don’t really like them. The heroes are way overpowered and seem too “buffed up” for my liking. Plus they seem to have this attitude that they need to get checked.
Has anyone read and enjoyed these versions of the heroes? Or am I just misinterpreting them?

I picked up Teen Titans, Final Crisis and Batman today. Final Crisis was interesting, I guess the pacing is a little slow though. Ending kind of surprised me though. Teen Titans was enjoyable, can’t wait for the next issue… and Batman was great. I haven’t kept up with Batman, so I don’t know who Doctor Hurt is, I’ll have to track down some back issues.
I actually forgot FC is out.
Heavier then usual week for me though.

Wells Morrison doesn’t like Spider-Man’s marriage either, even if he talks more about not liking Superman’s marriage, he just doesn’t feel Supe’s marriage is something that can be undone.

i read the first part of the series in Batman RIP wich was ok i guess… a lot of building up and exitement but nothing really special happened. its got a lot to live up to after morisons statements at the comic con in new york
when he explained that whats going to happen to Batman is so much better than death and also a lot worse. So we know Bruce Wayne isnt going to die… my theory is that he’s gonna get crippled …or maybe humiliated to abandon the mantle of batman to someone else.
Morisson also said that its gonna be the most shocking batman revelation in 70 years !!!

In 677 it was hinted that Thomas Wayne is alive. So what if Bruce father and the reason he became Batman, is alive or more than that he is the Black Glove. I think that would crush Bruce mentaly
I can’t wait till Morrison blows our minds, everyone hates it because it’s something totally new and different and then DC just retcons the hell out of it.
It’s gonna be New X Men all over again.
It’s really sad that Marvel basically abandoned the secondary mutation thing.

Just read Trinity… I was surprised that it was actually good! I really didn’t want to jump in on another weekly… but I’ll have to stay in a little longer.

Big 3 all the way and DC also confirmed that Trinity takes place before Batman RIP, so Bruce Wayne all the way too. Because we don’t know exactly how RIP will end just yet…
