As the design currently stands, the shield is an arrow that points from his face straight down to his penis without any stopping point.
Come to think of it… Jim Lee may be trolling us.

I’m only familiar with the Justice League through it’s animated incarnations but does anyone else think that after the Avengers there should be a Justice League movie? From both animated series the Justice League cartoons and Young Justice were way better than both the Avenger cartoons.
If it’s going to happen I suspect that the JL movie will take a more serious tone as to not feel like an Avengers knock off.
They will probably do the same thing that Avengers did but they will have to start from scratch basically.
Bale will not play Batman after Dark Knight Rises and execs feel that that interpretation of Batman will not work in a Justice League setting. There will be a new Batman franchise. If it works they will probably use that Batman.
There’s going to be a new Superman movie so no getting Routh on board.
Green Lantern, well in the movie for some stupid reason they say that humans have been unaware of aliens prior to that film which is there way of saying Superman is not on planet Earth (unless they want to tell people that Green Lantern came before Superman and um like yeah no one is buying that) so Green Lantern exists in a bubble, no shared Earth unlike Iron Man / Hulk / Cap / Thor.
They will pretty much have to start from scratch to establish Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman again (GL and Flash they could probably just re-introduce in a new movie). Then they can cram them into a JL movie.
They almost made a Justice League movie during the writers strike a few years ago, but it involved a different actors playing Batman, Superman, etc. Sounded very lame and I’m glad it didn’t see the light of day.
It’s funny that DC had all of this time to put something like Avengers together, ever since Superman 1 and with less hassles since WB owns DC. Not to mention Marvel’s movie rights are all over the place to begin with. Still going from Blade 1 up until now Marvel still got to a movie like Avengers in a much shorter time span.
Avengers made so much bank so I’m sure they’ll do something. Honestly I don’t have faith unless they can get Joss Whedon, and I’m sure they can’t. Because some bone head over at WB fired him when he was making a Wonder Woman movie for them. Boy someone feels butt hurt right now. His involvement really made Avengers what it was. Whedon should direct everything.
Sure a Nolan JL movie would be great, but since DC’s not going that route so you can probably forget it. Which I think is stupid but eh. It’s like they think a man dressing up as a Bat on a nightly basis to punch a clown in the face can’t hang out with an alien in a cape because Nolan’s movies are so realistic. Um, okay. If you say so…
I have no interest in a Snyder directed Justice League movie either. Well maybe they can find someone good I suppose.
WB gave it a shot already, and (almost par for the course for DC superhero movies) it got stuck in development hell. Current scuttlebutt is that Christopher Nolan is the unofficial guru on all things DC movies at this point, and he doesn’t want to mix universes.
Looks like the best bet for good quality Justice League adaptations is still the cartoon.
That sounds like a shame, but hopefully with the Avengers success it’ll change their mind. If there was a movie what kind of villain would you expect?
Ares? Lex Luthor?
Your hopes are way too high. The last time they tossed around a Justice League movie the only villain, and let me stress, THE ONLY VILLAIN was Max Lord.
BIZARRO: DC MOVIE PEOPLE AM DUMB.
Max would make a great fucking villian for a movie, but the only one? That’s some dumb shit.
DC could make good on its boasts that it treated Kirby better than Marvel ever did by doing a Fourth World movie and cutting Kirby’s family in on the profits.
I’d love to see a Nolan JL film, if not just to hear everyone around the Justice Table talking like they got gravel in their mouth.
Or talking like they’re reading about their own movies on the back of the DVD cases.
Batman: “Superman is worried that he doesn’t have what it takes. It may be time for someone else to be the hero Earth deserves.”
Superman: “Batman just doesn’t know his limits.”
Flash: “Guys, guys, GUYS! The world needs dramatic examples, and we can’t do that if we’re lost in the scramble for our own gratification!”
Maybe if Nolan snagged Shane Black from Marvel to write some decent dialogue…
Found a handful of Palmiotti/Gray Jonah Hex comics in a quarter bin. Why did people think these were good comics? The rotation of artists consistently did superb work but these stories were so lazy, with cheap endings and an over-reliance on gunplay solving every problem. I appreciate that they worked so hard on making done in one stories, but none of the ones I read were anything special. I feel like it’s a really bad sign when I paid 25 cents for a comic and still felt like I wasted my time and money.
I should have known better than to give the Palmiotti/Gray team another chance. I’ve never thought highly of any of their comics… Uncle Sam and the Freedom Fighters, Hawkgirl, Power Girl, those random Wildstorm minis they did…
They’re worse than Abnett/Lanning.
First look at He-Man redesigns.
Philip Tan, isn’t he the dude who drew the legendary Draco storyline in X-Men?
What a living legend. Now he gets to draw He-Man? Talk about putting your top tier talent on an A-level property. I bet this comic will run for at least 429 issues.
He-Man!
I am so excited, I hope I don’t forget about it though and stumble across it six issues later. Hope it ends up like Batman Beyond where-in it starts off as a Mini and due to success becomes a full time comic.
Batman Inc. returns next week. GET HYPE! :nunchuck:
I am so hype.
The Rock might play someone in a DC movie! Or he’s just screwing with people. Arg I can’t smell what The Rock is cooking!

He should play Sgt. Rock in an Our Army at War movie.
Phil Tan on He-Man! YES!!!
Well at one point he was rumored to be playing Black Adam, but I think that particular ship has sailed. Kind of interesting.
EDIT: Also-
You should all be reading this, it’s cute as hell and funny. http://littleleaguecomic.tumblr.com/
